Of being open minded…….

Yesterday, my blog's password was breached. I find it amazing that there are actually talented person out there willing to abuse his talents to decode my password and made postings in my blog. Well, whatever it is, I hope the intruder had his fun. So am I, I did enjoy reading his postings. But, to ensure that the party is over, I changed my blog’s password. I have the funny feeling that I know my web log’s intruder. But whatever it is, I am not going to waste my energy to explore this matter further. To the intruder still at large, if you have something against me or felt uneasy with some of my postings, why don’t you try your very best to forgive and forget ? You know, indulging in unhealthy activities is of no good to you, you should try your very best to culture yourself to respect others’ pivate space.

Coming back to my personal health, the previous six month has been a challenging period for me dealing with the management of my treatment regime. A friend of mine suggested I take up Qi Qong ( Chi Dynamic, to be precised) as a form of breathing exercise to improve my chances of recovery. I consulted the good doctor, he encouraged and suggested I should take up Qi Qong, because in his opinion, it will definitely improve my health. So I enrolled in a Qi Qong class. To my surprise, my Christian friends disapproved of my involvement in Qi Qong, trying the level best, either directly or indirectly, to discourage me from further engaging in Qi Qong. To sum it up, their main reason is, Qi Qong is associated with cults and other religions. I was asked to put more faith into Jesus Christ as my healer. Well, maybe I do not know what I am doing, but one thing I do know, some of these Christian friends of mine are basically quite narrow minded. I am really amazed that, without further understanding and knowledge of Qi Qong, these people can be so quick to jump into conclusion that Qi Qong is against Christian values. I bet if they are cancer patients, they wouldn’t be so quick to make this narrow minded conclusion. So, I do have faith in my Almighty as my healer, but I am also well aware that God only help those who help himself. Why some of these people are so narrow minded to question my faith, when I see nothing religious about practicing Qi Qong? Whatever it is, I do strongly believe that, people should not use the name of religion to question my faith and decision to adopt Qi Qong as therapeutic intervention of arresting my deteriorating health. So what next, should I also discard traditionally Chinese medicine because, if you trace back the history, TCM is also related to spirituality ? I guess, the bottom line is, if you are not open minded, religion will always be abused to justify our own intolerances of other people’s actions.

Coming back to my blog, on many occasions, I also received emails from some readers of this blog criticizing me for not publishing their comments relating to some of the postings here. Well, as I explained before, this is a real world. My blog is my private space where I occasionally publish my thoughts, emotions, and sentiments. It is my rights to publish or reject “comments” submitted by the readers. But one thing I want to make it clear is, I had never rejected comments where names and contact details are provided by the “commentators”. So far, I only reject those comments submitted under “Anonymous”. If a person refused to be identified and have no guts to be associated with his own submitted comments, what kind of rights he expect me to accord to him ? You know, for refusing to publish their comments , ome of these Anonymous people accused me of not Open Minded. Maybe I am ! Should I be apologetic to them ? In the first place, is it so difficult for them to be a bit responsible to refrain from hiding behind “Anonymous” to submit comments with opposing views ? I think some of these people who intend to be identified as Anonymous are hypocrites and naively perverted.

By nature, we may deny it, but we are hypocrites. We judged but refuse dto be judged. We are all in practice narrow minded, but we accused others and romanticized Openness, being open minded, and what-nots ! To prevent myself from being drown by all these misplaced values, I shall continue to speak my mind, and I do not need to be right all the times,. I will only embrace others’ opinions and ideas as and when it is necessary. Am I being narrow minded ? Yes, I am. Do you have problem with that ? Go indulge in your own private space and mind your own business ! Or am I being arrogant ?

Believe it or not, we can only rise to the level of our lowest opinions on others. It is good to romanticize open mindedness, but we are only as open minded as our perception on others. The rest, perhaps to live in a more peaceful and happy world, we should leave it to the meeks to inherit the earth……..

Life as it is.....

Looking back, through the grace of God, my life is indeed blessed and scripted on a simple plot. I had an interesting childhood, a challenging teenage years, and a comfortable life as an adult. What next ? Well, I would like to take life as it is now and adapt to it come what may. In simple words, I would like to look at the qualitative aspect of life rather than the quantitative duration. Of course, if I can live a bit longer to enjoy the god life, then that will be a bonus.

My late father used to tell me that life is what you made it to be. How you going to live your life, it has nothing to do with faith or the determination of God. Faith and God only determine when you will be born and when you will die. In between, the process of getting from birth to death is up to you to fill the empty spaces with experiences of the five senses. Some choose to enrich the process, but some choose to make life difficult for others in the hope that their misdeeds on others will make life easy for them.

I do believe in God. Since I have better working knowledge in English language as compared to other languages, I tend to look at religious teaching with references to Christianity. Since I am an Asian, I choose to tuned my life philosophy more towards Buddhism. At the moment, I do sincerely believe that Christianity and Buddhism are mutually compatible in integrating religious values and our earthly philosophy of life. In another words, I would like to walk the middle path in completing my remaining process of living my earth life. I despised religious extremism, intolerance, and fanaticism. One thing for sure, I will never degrade or destroy fellow human being's life under any circumstances. I will stand up to any intentional or unintentional misinterpretations of "God's words" by anyone to imposed and transgressed their own religious values on others. "Thou shall not Kill" is a universal teaching of all religions. I subscribed to this sacred command, therefore, forgive me if I show disrespect and contempt to human beings who conduct senseless murders and killings in the name of God.

I would definitely look forward to live my life to the fullest. I shall live my life ethically with due considerations to the well beings of my habitats and the people around me. I also sincerely believe in allowing myself to "enjoy or experimenting" with non conformities that are not harmful to my body and to other people. I believe, this is basic human rights. However, I will continue to criticize racisms and discriminations in any form. I do sincerely believe, racisms and discriminations, be it positive, negative, or defined in any political correct definitions are morally and religiously incorrect and unacceptable. "All human beings are born equal and must be equally treated with dignity", this is another universal values of all religions and ethical values. Therefore, with due respect to all, I honestly believe that, only misguided and immoral people with wrong religious teachings are capable of infringing and demanding their rights to degrade the rights of others. It is not up to me to judge the rights, morality, and righteousness of others. But I do sincerely believe, when those rights, morality, and righteousness as practiced by others become incompatible to my values, and attempted to be imposed on my daily life, it is an irritant. Therefore, it is my rights to comment in any form and at any avenue that is appropriate to me.

Heaven is on earth ! I would like to live a luxurious life free from the encumbrances of other people's non compatible values and moralities. What is right for me may not be right for others, likewise, the reverse is applicable. In terms of religion, as much as I believe in the existence of a God and higher being, I will accord my respect to those who believe in other Gods and those do not believe in God. It is immaterial whether a person has different religion or no religion, as long as he lives an ethical life, he is entitled to live a "heavenly" life on earth. He is also entitled to go to heaven with all the promised goodies after his shelf life is expired on earth. If a confessed murderer or sinner is promised heaven in their next life, why can't this absurdity be accorded to an ethical but non religious person ? Religion should be perceived as an alternative mean to better life, not an end to a life of rigid conformities.

The bottom line is, I would like to live each day and savour all the goods and bads without intimidations of imposition and intrusions of others' incompatible values. I would also love to cherish each moment as it is and as it come, and say whatever that I sincerely felt is not right without fear. At the end of the day, I would like to believe, I have lived a life of no regret, because I am answerable to myself, my loved ones, my friends, and my God.

and Life goes on......... May the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha support my efforts to live an enlightened life of no regret.

( Note : Sincerely, no insensitivity is intended by this posting to any "religiously" inclined people or religions. And, hopefully, today is not a day of any religious significant that may rendered this posting to be religiously offensive and insensitive. If you felt offended by this posting, please take your nasi lemak's apology and grievance seeking elsewhere !!! )

A spiritual hallucination ?

In the comfort
of my illusion,
In the little corner
of my concious mind,
sleep came.

You came.
humming melodious words,
with such serenity and calmness..
But the thunderous winds
in my troubled mind
blew it away.

Refused your wish I dare not.
Although the desires are strong,
but what made me pondered,
I don't know.
God, you are the almighty.
Let your kindness
be my reflections.
beyond that,
I am,
the master of my own destiny.
To stray, I shall not !

Leave me be.

Coffee intoxicated thoughts

About Life practicality
It would be nice if Life can be as simple as Microsoft's culture. For example, when you hit into problem, you can always start all over again by Clicking the three magic keys of CTRL, ALT, and DEL. To end everything, you need to go back to START. To get a job initiated, you need to RUN.

About Sexy Underwear
Why women bother spending a fortune to buy sexy lingerie to sexually arouse the men ? When a man is on heat, it doesn't matter what the woman wear. You can even drill a hole on the flagpole and wrap a skirt around it, and the man go for it if he is intoxicated enough.

About Sexual techniques
Most experts on sexuality emphasized the importance of FOREPLAY. But in life, those who can't do, TEACH. And those who can't teach, DO! .The CAN DO always paid a fortune to listen to the CAN'T DO ! About foreplay ? Does it really matter ? Real man prefer only the play and straight forward action. Only impotence politician engage in foreplay. Why glorifying "foreness" when you can't get the job done ?

About Oral Sex
Does men love oral sex ? Hello, are you a man ? What can be more sextisfying than oral sex ?. Men loved oral sex ! That's the truth, not myth. When a man did it on woman, it is called Cunnilingus. When a woman did it on man, it is called Fellatio. But for the not so educated man like me, just keep it simple. Just call it a Blow job.

About erotic fantasy and Buddhism
The Pope once described Buddhism as a religion of erotic fantasy. As a Buddhist, I would like to thank the Pope for jump starting my enlightenment. Just imagine, you are in deep trance of meditation, you begin to see things you shouldn't see and sensations of excitements that radiate to every muscles and sensory cells of your body. At the end of the session, what do you get ? I don't know about you. But the Pope do describe my state of being precisely in those two magic words. Mr Pope, you have problem with erotic fantasy ? I don't have. Why don't you mind your own business and stop derogatorized my perfectly healthy adventurism of mind and body ?

About Politicians
In Malaysia, it has been a trend for political parties to gain acceptance by parading the accountability concept of limiting a politician's office to Two Terms. Are they serious ? I support the initiative, and hopefully they implement it - seriously limiting it to Two Terms, first term in Office, second term in Jail.

About Human Intelligent
President Bush said "It is about time the human race enter the Solar system", I guess all this while we are on the other side of the milky way. And, he also said "Majority of our import came from outside the country". Come to think of it, he is just like me. Talking non sensible things all the time.
