The sad plights of migrant workers...

WE’RE LIVING LIKE DOGS ? Sad, but according to the Malay Mails' report, it happened to a group of pitiful migrant workers from Bangladesh ! Not wanting to rub salts on their wounds, but I believed, even the dogs have better living conditions. For further details, please read HERE.

Somethings are just not right when the irresponsible agents charged them RM 15K to bring them to Malaysia without securing the promised jobs and left them stranded without any money. I had yet to come across an irresponsible employment agent being prosecuted in the court of Malaysia ! Even if some of the "lucky" migrant workers managed to get jobs, their employers underpaid them, pay them nothing, and withold their travel documents. According to one migrant worker, “In my contract, it was stated that we would get RM800 a month but we ended up getting only RM400. From that, RM100 was deducted — as work levy....Every time we questioned our boss, we would be beaten.”

I believe this is not the first time migrant workers in Malaysia suffered reported inhumane treatments. It had happened to often. Perhaps, the government of Malaysia should publish, black list, and revoke the special permits granted to these irresponsible employment agents. As it is, it gave the impression that, these employment agents are nothing but a bunch of licensed human traffickers.

Oh Malaysians, since when we had became so immorally decadence ? These migrant workers sacrificed all their money and belongings to travel thousands of miles to come to Malaysia in search of a decent job and better economic conditions for their loved ones back home. But they end-up being cheated and abused by the wealthy agents and unscrupulous employers looking for cheap labours ! Has Malaysia slowly gaining the reputation for being the fertile ground that breeds contempts for human rights abuses ?

I do hope the Malaysian and Bangladeshi government can initiate more concerted efforts to prosecute the irresponsible employment agents and put them to jails. Maybe it would worth the while for our Malaysian embassy in Bangladesh to take out major advertisement campaigns in Bangladeshi media to inform pontential migrant workers that there are no more jobs in Malaysia. Hopefully, with better information disseminations, potential migrant workers from Bangladesh will not be so easily cheated to part away with their hard earned money to come to Malaysia to be abused. The sad fact is, there are ten of thousands of unemployed graduates in Malaysia, what makes these Bangladeshis think that they are better qualified than these local unemployed graduates to compete for the limited job vaccancies in Malaysia ?

For a few dollars more, some Malaysians lookout to the world with narrow mindsets and perverted greeds, but like it or not, the world is now looking at Malaysia with negative perceptions. Are we a nation that has been infested by vultures who are unscrupulous, immoral, heartless, with no sense of guilt, and incapable of remorse, to cheat poor people from under priviledged countries ? We are indeed a shameless country with farked up mentalities and faked righteousness.

To all these people who are responsible for the sad plights of the Bangladeshi, please try to put yourselves in their shoes. Please have some basic decency to treat your fellow human beings with respect and compassion.

ISA knocks again....

I am very sad to read that 5 ethnic Indian activists were arrested and send to my hometown ( Kamunting ) for holiday without trials. The 5 activists are are key members of the Hindu Rights Action Force ( Hindraf ). They managed to organized a peaceful street rally that drew more than 20000 people and attracted worldwide attentions to their plights.

Hindraf has alleged racial discrimination in business, job, and education by the government of Malaysia and demanded equality and fair treatment for Indians. The government denied discriminations against ethnic Indians.

The government has said that "majority" of Malaysians approved the use of Internal Security Act ( ISA) against the 5 activists to preserve national peace and security. Am I supposed to feel proud that Malaysia is one of the last few countries in the world that still practice Draconian Law. I do find it very sad to swallow the fact that, "national peace and security" are being used again as the excuse to invoke detention without trial on the 5 activists. I sincerely doubt the 5 activists are capable of intend to threaten our national peace and security. I believed, all they want is, fair ears to hear their alleged claims of racial discriminations.

If we can show so much sympathies to terrorists by asking the world to understand the root causes of terrorism, why are we then, not able to accord the same level of sympathies to these group of people who believed that they had been marginalized and racially discriminated ? Wouldn't it be more appropriate for the government to challenge their allegations in the court ?

In any civil society, we must be able to accept and tolerate differing opinions and expressions. It is not the culture of civil society to arrest and put activists in jails without trials. It breaks my heart to see draconian law being applies on fellow Malaysians simply because some of us believed these 5 activists are a threat to national security.

On my bended knees, I pray. May God bless all of us to have fair eyes for humanity, empathetic ears to listen to grouses, and the wisdom to do the right things.

I just recovered from bird flu.....

Forgive me if I talk cock, because I still have some residual bird flu virus in my bloods.......

"Saya pantang di cabar..." ( It is taboo to challenge me.....). Wow, what a macho talk. But Malaysians are a forgiving lot. Sai loh koh ng sek yeh, yow hei kong lah.... Every day kong ng sum ng sei. Maybe he just recovered from bird flu and still talking cock language.

"If I have to sign a detention order for ISA (Internal Security Act - detention without trial ), I will do it without feeling guilty......". So the pen he hold is mightier than human morality. Indeed, we are the last few righteous countries in the world that religiously believe that jailing people without proper trial in legally constituted court is morally right.

"If the choice is between public safety and public freedoms, I do not hesitate to say here that public safety will always win...". I don't really know, what is the meaning of safety without freedom ? Well, what can I say, there are always perverts who loved to screwed and be screwed. This is scary. In the name of safety, some idiots seemed to think that it is their God damned rights to deny the freedom of others.

And, the best part is, we seemed to be very proud to tell the whole world that, the "Rights to Peaceful Assemblies" as enshrined in Article 20 of the United Nation's Universal Declaration of Human Rights and others internationally agreed human rights standards are deemed to be "ini bukan budaya kita" ( this is not our culture ). I bet some of us are damn proud with their uncultured forked tongues hypocrisies. What is our budaya anyway ? Cakap tak serupa bikin ?

Big man tough talks ? or was it desperate words from wannabe tyrants wanting to be seen tough ? Is this the morally accepted reality ? Or was it decadent reality illusorily conceived by the some immoral morons ? Well, human rights means different thing to different primates. Some primates seemed to think that they are a class above moron, and demanded their rights to deprive the rights of others. Whatever it is, I had made up my mind in the coming general elections, it is my duty to vote out politically arrogant and morally decadent politicians.

During his days of decadent glory, Fujimori was once a big man with his ill conceived tough talks, but yesterday, he was sentenced to 6 years jail by Peruvian Court. Sadam Hussein thought he is invincible and rule Iraq with arrogant wimps and fancies, but he was executed by his own countrymen at a time when the world was celebrating in Holidays. Remember, good begets good, bad begets bad, and vipakka is the natural outcome for karma to manifest its consequences.

So for all the politicall decadent politicians out there, remember Fujimori, remember Sadam Hussein.

So, look like we are going to have another peaceful rally this coming weekend. The previous “Gelombang Kuning ( Yellow Wave )” on November 3rd 2007 saw thousands of people peacefully converging into downtown Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Lumpur was crippled due to massive police road blocks. Come this weekend, are we going to have a “Yellow Wave” of thousand of people converging into Kuala Lumpur ?

The two SMSes did not mentioned what is the objective of the rally. From recent events, I presumed the event organized by the Hindu Action Front is probably to highlight the plights of Malaysians of Indian origin with regards to marginalization, demolishment of Hindu temples, etc.

Sad to note that some segments of the Indian community had to resort to the street to seek attention for alleged unfair treatments by the political establishment. Do Malaysians of Indian origin have the rightful grievances to go to the street to voice their plights ad frustrations ? I would like to assume that no right minded people will resort to street demonstration if they are well treated and accorded with equal rights. I do sincerely hope that, as Malaysians, we can one day discard our immoral mentality of dividing ourselves along racial lines. Malaysians had been going around championing human rights and equality in other parts of the world, but look like we are not even able to listen to our own hearts to accord fair treatments to our own country men and women.

To be fair to the Indian community, they had unselfishly contributed substantially to the positive development of Malaysia. Without the Indian, we would not have our plantation industry. Without the Indian, we would not even have the railway and roads that serve the foundation of our modern transportation infrastructure. And similarly, the Indians had also contributed substantially to engineering, modern medicines, commerce, and various sectors of our economy. Without doubts, the Indians are the most patriotic and loyal Malaysians. Let's all take note of their contributions, have noble hearts to feel their frustrations, and fair eyes to see their hardships. Without any biased chauvinistic interests, let us listen to their grievances and accord them the fair remedies.

We are all Malaysians born in this blessed land, why do some of us still want to make ourselves looking like institutionalized pariahs in the eyes of the world by degrading ourselves along the lines of religion, race, and culture. We should all stand united as Malaysian to defend the integrity and sovereignty of our nation. Similarly, when comes to distribution of wealth and privileges, why do we need to go below the level of indecency and immorality to divide ourselves to satiate our self serving greeds and indecencies ?

Do not do unto unto others what you do not want others to do unto you. Let us all have the determination to have a good sleep tonight, and wake up tomorrow morning enlightened with fair eyes for humanity. May the Almighty bless all of us with the grace and righteousness to treat each other fairly, to respect and be respected, and, to love and be loved.

Iran submitted a 70-page document, titled “In the Name of God – Report on Human Rights Situation in Canada”, to the United Nations. The document claimed that the Canadian government violated human rights in denying her people good, clean water, and right to work. The document also claimed that "Routine unlawful strip and beatings by Canadian police has been a matter of concern for international community.......... the practice of police is alarming simply because it is functioning as if there is no need to have judges." And, "To the great dismay of the international community, it is a great concern that the rights of women are violated, and no serious attention has been paid in promotion and protection of women's rights in Canada." Wow, I did not realized that there is a mountain in Iran called “High Moral Ground” ! Iran is trying to champion the world's human rights ? Nice try ! But wouldn't it be better if Iran can showcase to the world its superb human rights record ? I am very sure, Iran's record speaks volume of its credibility in human rights abuses. Maybe Canada should enforced the dressing codes of forcing all women to wear burqas to meet Iran's high standard of rights for women. By the way, I personally think that it is despicable for one country to use the name of God in their attempt to discredit other country. Please, leave God out of your demented minds.

I lived in Canada for a few years. With no insensitivity intended to those apology seekers, Canada is still one of the world most peaceful multi racial country with respectable constitutionalized and institutionalized respect for human rights and equal opportunities for minorities. Living condition in Canada is anytime much better than Iran. Standard of Living is also much better than Iran. If you asked me to choose between Canada and Iran in term of abuses of human rights and unfair treatments to the minorities, I have this to say “In the name of my Dog, and I swear to all almighties, Canada is much better country compared to Iran”. By the way, Canadians used clean gas in their kitchen, so, I presumed Canadian's stainless steel kettle is much cleaner than the Iranian's pot. Malaysian lawyer files US$4 trillion suit against Britain

I read with sadness ( very SAD and Embarrassed ) a news report in Taipei Times. The news article is regarding a Malaysian Lawyer filing a US$4 trillion suit against Britain. The suit seek USD 2 million compensation for each of the currently estimated 2 million Malaysian of Indian Origin. The suit claimed that, Indians were originally brought in by the British to work as indentured labourer in Malaysia prior to Malaysia’s independent. It further claimed British negligence and failure for not protecting the rights of future generations of the minority Indians in Malaysia. The suit also want the British court to declare Malaysia’ constitutions NULL and VOID. Read HERE for further details of the news report.

I am not a legal expert, but why filing the suit in British court ? Why are we still kowtowing to the British court ? Why not filing the suit in United Nations’ International Court or United Nations’ Human Rights Commissions ?

As a Malaysian, I do felt very sad that, after so many years of independence, we are still unable to identify ourselves as a single National Identity. We are still resorting to identify ourselves as Malay, Indian, Chinese, etc. to claim special rights and selfish interests.

I pray, one day in a not so distant future, our children can all be proud Malaysians enjoying equal rights irregardless of culture, race, religion, and ethnicity. Let’s us put oursleves in each other shoes to forster better understandings and tolerances. May the line that divide becomes our rally point to unite. May God grace all Malaysians with fair eyes, hearts, and souls to accept all Malaysians as Malaysians, respectful of human rights, and the decency to embrace non discriminatory practices.

I recently read about a sad case of a young girl who died while undergoing a “purification” rite where circumcision were done on her genital. This shameful and barbaric rite is commonly known as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Maybe I am culturally insensitive and ignorant to condemn this type of barbaric cultural rites. But let us not show disrespect to the basic human rights of young girls in particular and women in general. In the name of cultural and traditional rights, how low and indecent men can go to indulge in their stupidity and insanity ?

It is indeed very sad that, in this age of modernity, there are still regressive mental retards out there who take pride in creating communal, physical, and mental pressure to force frightened young girls to underwent excision of the clitoris and labia of the vagina. In certain severe case, the vagina is sew shut, and at later age, the vagina is surgically reopened to allow her husband to have sexual intercourse. The mutilation of the female genital, subject the young girls to various health risks and mental anguish. The girl may also died from the procedural complications such as wrong dosage of anaesthesia, hemorrhage, and other complications.

The community that practice FGM usually claimed that, a woman's vagina labia and clitoris are “not clean”, and as long as the female genital is not mutilated according to the community's cultural standards, the woman will become promiscuous and “un-marriageable”. The whole idea of FGM is to “protect” the woman's chastity, making her faithful to her future husband, and to prevent her from having sexual pleasures. The whole idea, I believed,, is to ensure the women toe the line of “acceptable” standard of sexuality to protect the honour and pride of the men. What a shameful values of morality. If mutilating a female genitals can purify and defend the honours of their family and community. Why not practise the double assurances by also removing the testicles and cut-off the penis' tip of the menfolks there ? Why torture the innocent young girls with stupid and barbaric tradition to glorify the men's inferiority complex ?

I am equally shocked to learned that, those uneducated women who were previously forced by their men and culture to undergone FGM are also supporting FGM to be done on their children and other young girls. It is indeed a sadistic mentality of “since I was previously forced to have my genital mutilated, it is only fair that other innocent young girls be also put through the same torturous genital mutilations”. So, in the process, this madness become the accepted rites of passage for innocent young girls. Young girls continued to be subjected to needless trauma, bodily harms, danger of death, and ordeal. Sickening people in sickening society manifesting their sickening culture to nauseate civilized world. Times and again, forked tongues politicians asking the rest of the civilized to respect and show sensitivity to this sickeningly sadistic and barbaric cultures.

FGM is an act of sexual assault. This inhumane act of FGM must be totally banned and abolished. Let's all not keep silent on this abuse or make polite excuses that we need to respect barbarians' cultural sensitivity. A human rights abuse is a HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSE. Let us not be forked tongues about it. FGM is physically a criminal sexual assault. Let's shamed and embargoed the communities that still practice the barbaric tradition of genital mutilations. To those who still believe and insist on their traditional rights to conduct FGM, they are nothing but a bunch of psychotic pea-brained barbarians. I sincerely appeal to them to stop picking on young girls to prove their little manhood. Seriously, are there pride and honour in conducting sexual assaults on young girls in the name of cultures and traditions ?

To those barbarians who still encourages sadistic genital mutilations, you want respect for your cultural rights ? Nah, this is my middle finger ! Is it big and long enough to sensitize your rear orifice ?

International Human Rights Day

The International Human Rights Day is celebrated annually 10 December to commemorate the United nations General Assembly's adoption and proclamation of Universal Declaration Of Human Rights on 10 December 1948.

As a layman, my honest observation is, some council members of UNHRC are basically a bunch of international outcasts. Some of them are blatantly racists and abusive in terms of rights records. To me, the UNHRC is basically an international fantasy club for human rights abusers trying to politically justifying their immoral abuses in their home countries by being a member. As long as the UN has no political and moral guts to evict these countries with questionable human rights records from UNHRC, human beings will forever suffer fool mentalities. 58 years had passed since its adoption by the United Nations General Assembly, but has the human rights records of member nations improved ? I doubt so ! All I see is, the UNHRC are more interested to continue to redefine the standards for defending and promoting Human Rights to make it more politically correct to appease Human Rights abusing nations.

On this noble day, would average citizens of the world take comforts to proudly acknowledge the achievement of "all human beings are born with equal and inalienable rights and fundamental freedoms" ? I doubt so ! All I see is, we are still behaving like animal trying to transgressed and compelled others to adopt our religions, we are still terrorize others trying to expand our political territories, we are still talking about special communal rights and privileges, etc, In summary, we are still barbarically trying to infringe on the rights of others to unfairly propagate our selfish and immoral needs. Sad to note that, in most countries, race and religion are still politically and legitimately being used to infringe on human rights shamelessly.

Can I trust the council members of the UNHRC to protect, defend, and promote human rights as enshrined in the document of Universal Declaration of human Rights which was release 58 years ago ? To all these council members of UNHRC, when you said the declaration guaranteed everyone's rights and freedoms to nondiscrimination, freedom of religions, rights to education, freedom of thoughts and expressions, equality of religion, culture, and race, etc. Please take a look at your own home countries. Human rights abusers defending the values of human rights ? I rolled my eyes, and I shake my head.... Actions are always inconsistent with words. Nay, you hypocrites made me puke !

Nevertheless, in the spirits of Human Rights, happy International Human Rights day. We are the world, may the world be a better place tomorrow......

Selamat Malam Malaysia

I have no intention to offend the feelings of any Malaysian. Perhaps my wronged observations misguided me to write this log. But this is my honest observations and sincere rantings of concerns. I whole heartedly submit my apology if my observations and comments are biased or ill conceived. But please bear in mind, I am a Malaysian and I care for the wellbeings of all Malaysians regardless of racial and religious origins.

It used to be, Malaysians are proud to be Malaysians. We stand tall in the world arena to demonstrate our cohesiveness as a united nation of tolerance, moderateness, and our accomplishments. In 50's, 60's, and 70's, as a nation, we are not so well off economically, but as a nation, our people are happy. We supported each other to scale greater achievements. We are proud of each other successes. And, we are proud to be Malaysians. Those are period of golden era of our nationhood. But we are not what we used to be. and, if we continued to allowed ourselves to be racially divided, we will never be what we want to be.

It pained me to see families committing mass suicide because they see no way out in their hopeless financial desperations. Crimes are being committed by Malaysians because they are marginalized to the extend that they can't find any meaningful economic opportunities to make a decent living.

Look at us now. In the 21st century of modern comforts, we are generally more educated but sadly has became less learned. We are now less tolerance of each other beliefs, culture, and way of life. We begin to put up barriers among ourselves. Malaysians are no longer Malaysians. We are now Malay, Chinese, Indian, Iban, Kadazan, Eurasian, etc. We are now no longer achievements oriented as a nation. We are now more interested to bring down each other in the hope that the failures of other groups of Malaysians glorifies our non accomplishments. The sad fact is, we are at times jealous of other Malaysians successes and achievements, when we failed, we blamed others for our failures.

As a Malaysian, I believed in what I see. My observation is, we are begining to be racially and religiously intolerance of each others. Who among Malaysians should be credited for instigating and propagating this dangerous racial intolerances and hatreds ? And who is responsible for dividing this nation ? Let us be honest to ourselves. We are what we are now because, in our selfishness, we allow ourselves to be manipulated by racial and religious pariahs. The smeared finger prints of these parasites are all over the places. But we choose to condone and accept these immoral infringement of human rights simply because we are too naive to believe that it defended the special rights and privileges of our narrow minded selfishness.

In the name of race and religion ? How about in the name of Malaysia ? In the first place, if we consider ourselves as Malaysians and treat each other with honour, respect, and fairness, what rights and privileges of ours are being eroded ? Aren't we blindly fighting each other and unwittingly perpetuating the stay of immoral politicians and rent seekers ? Malaysia Bolih or Malaysians Bodoh ? If we persist in our political arrogance and decadence ways, we may ultimately end up as Malaysia Bohlui ( a bankrupt nation )!

Selfish politicians being what they are, tend to instigate racial emotions and portrayed themselves as defenders of racial rights to gain and sustained their position and power. Do these politicians genuinely interested in safe guarding and promoting the welfares of their own racial groups ? I don't know for sure whether these politicians has contributed to the well beings of Malaysians. But as a layman, I would like to think otherwise. For the past 20 years, what have these selfish politicians accomplished except creating racial disharmony and economic havocs ?

In the national emblem of Malaysia, there is this little slogan which state very clearly that "Unity is strength". But what unity are we talking about ? From what I see is, we have desperate politicians seeking to perpetuate their unwelcome stay in power by rallying racially motivated statements to solicit popularity. In the name of race and religion, do these sickening politicians understand the contributions and sacrifices of other Malaysians ? The seeds of dangerous flames for divisive racial sentiments, intolerances, and hatreds have already been planted. Instead of dousing it with statements and actions of harmony and peace, we have these irresponsible and rent seeking politicians going around with fans and bucket of kerosene trying to make the flames bigger hoping to be the accidental heroes and elected by racial pandering.

It is acceptable to champion and seek more rights and privileges for our own ethnic groups within the context of creating new wealths for all Malaysians. But in our eagerness to pursue this selfish racially motivated objectives, have we consider the plights and wellbeings of other Malaysians. Are we being fair to each other as Malaysians ? Do we honestly believe in human rights ? What we are doing now, is it consistent with our religious beliefs and moral upbringings ? For whatever it is worth, please tone down your languages and be sensitive to each others.

I believe in only ONE flag. That is the the flag of Jalur Gemilang. I shall carry this flag in the special corner of my heart. Be fair to all Malaysians, ask yourselves, what flags do you believe in ? In the name of Malaysia and as a righteous Malaysian, I urge you to reject racial politics now. Let's stand united to be proud ethical Malaysians. Let us work together as Malaysians NOW to built better foundations for FUTURE Malaysians. Let us all move forward in unison as a United Nation.

From a little corner of this slightly crooked banana look alike country, I have been consistently reminded to look back into history to condemn our colonial master, the British, for their despicable "Divide and Rule" strategy to keep Malaysia disunited. But, many years after we achieved independence, we formulate a Neutered Economic Policy that make it politically correct to implement policies along racial lines. So, the master did it, and the slaves tried to be the new master without any shame. Sound like Animal Farm to me anyway. Ketuanan this and ketuanan that.... yap, the farting noises are not only noisy, but smelly.

Absolute power breeds absolute ignorance. Absolute ignorance breeds absolute arrogance. Absolute arrogance breeds a culture of political decadences. The corrupted continued to live with filthy lifestyle. The corrupted will continue to defined themselves as poor in order to continue to receive unfair advantages and incentives to continue their parasitic lavish lifestyles at the expense of the poor. They can break the law, but time and political machineries are on their side to have any indication of fear. Remember the recent "Chiak Kar Liow" fiasco in the port town of Klang ? It is, but only the tip of the iceberg, of our decadence culture of arrogantly robbing the poor, blatantly trying to live a sinful life of above the law. But when confronted, shed crocodile tears to gain sympathy from the ignorant and less educated mass. With manipulative words and emotional rhetorics, and In the name of "race, religion, and country", they portrayed themselves as saviors for the poor and the illiterate, they became a community hero again. Malaysians somehow can be absurdly stupid and easily be manipulated emotionally. We are not learned and we will never be learned.

Racial politic is about manipulation of mass emotions and evasiveness of honesty. No wonder I was told, politics is the second oldest profession of human civilization. It did have a lot of resemblaces to the first oldest profession.

I guess it is nice to have filthy money dropped to you without any efforts. You have so much of it to the extend that you begin to think that you are infallible and it is your entitlements, you want to be above the law, you demand and you get it, and you start building your castle to showcase your power and connections. It feel nice isn't it to be acknowledged as Tuan whenever you go, before long, you think everybody owed you a living, you begin to think that you are entitled to everything that surround you. You became the rent seeking king of your community. The fetishes for immoral and sinful livings knows no limits. By the way, did God said it is Halal ? Praying everyday helps you to remove the sins of immoral livings ?

My honest feeling is, I believed, I have sold my soul for empty political promises. I have been hoodwinked. I love my country, but faked patriots love to deny my rights to gain popularity. Now, they are trying to use emotions to manipulate my sympathies. But dear assholes, do you know, asshole is a human anatomy for shitting, I guess, in the eyes of God, assholes are nothing but shitters. Along the way, there are also a lot of shits carriers. These shitters and their carriers should be treated as dirts. I can't really imagine how an asshole can have the basic intelligence to respect human rights. All I felt is, my rights has been consistently reinterpreted at the wimp and fancy of mental retards. Sooner or later, my rights will be reinterpreted out of existence.
