The kettle is speechless.....

Both of them have their grandfather came from India. Both of them are now Malaysians. Because their grandfathers pursued different religious path, one of them is a Malay, the other is an Indian. There is nothing wrong associating with one's ethnicity and race. The only different is, one remembered his roots, but the other, I think, selectively forgot his roots.

In your eagerness to be racial champions to gain relevancy and acceptance, Mr Samy and Mr Mahathir, tell us honestly what is your roots. Are you a Malaysian, An Indian, or a Malay. At least Mr Samy remembers and acknowledges his roots, but Mr Mahathir, may I remind you to remember your own roots ?

If my memories served me right, I remembered, many many years ago, when UMNO was deregistered by the court, Mr Samy invited Mahathir to join MIC. What if, in an unlikely scenario, if MIC is deregistered by the court, would Mr Samy be invited to join UMNO ?

After the March 8th, 2008 General Elections, Mr Samy called on the government to release the Hindraf's members who were detained in Hotel Kamunting without trial. For highlighting the plights of Hindraf members, Mr Mahathir called Samy a racist. When Mahathir highlight the plights of Malay, can Mr Samy also called Mahathir a racist ? Is it okay for the pot to call the kettle black, but when the kettle called the pot black, the kettle is being insensitive ?

Somehow, I got a funny feeling that, out there, there is a senile old man, looking at himself in the mirror to describe what his inner self. Old man, when you retire, please lah retire gracefully and wait for your judgment time to arrive, stop making all those unnecessary racial rhetorics to incite racial hatreds among Malaysians. Although not all Malaysians are stupid, but some maybe stupid enough to be incited by your irresponsible hate speech to run amok. Don't you think it is about time you be honest with yourself and not blinded by your selfish personal agenda to cause national disunity ?

I am, and as well as a lot of other Malaysians, are sympathetic towards the Hindraf issues. Are all of us also racists ? Are we being insensitive to Mahathir's special racial rights because we showed concerns to the plights of Hindraf ?

By the way, and for heaven sake, stop equating the Malaysians of Indian origin to the Tamil Tigers of Sri Lanka ! Because, if the Tamil Tigers land on the shores of Malaysia, you would have nowhere to run and shit in your pants with trembling legs! The Indians in Malaysia are peace loving Malaysians who are more patriotic than a lot of parasitic rent seekers. So be fair with your uncouth statements.

To all those racial pariahs. Please refrained from inciting racial hatreds to satiate your selfish agenda. Before you open your mouth to make another uncouth racial statement, please remember where your grandfather come from. For a start, maybe all of us should make a sentimental journey back to the land where our grandfather come from. At the same time, while we are there, we should also conduct a big puja to seek forgiveness from the souls of our departed ancestors for our insensitivity and stupidity to our fellow country men and women.

Whatever it is, and may be, I am sicked of all those farting noises generated by all those racial pariahs seeking narrow minded relevancy. I have only this to say to them “When your dick is long enough to reach your asshole, maybe it is about time you learn to fuck yourself with your own dick......”

To know Malaysia is to Love Malaysia ?

Three African students were hurt and one seriously injured after they were attacked by 30 local men in the compound of a Lagenda College hostel in Mantin on May 28 2008. In the incident, several cars and a guard post in the hostel were damaged. It was speculated that, the attack arose because the local men are not happy with the African students for dating the local women.

After the unprovoked attack from the local men, the African students armed with baseball bats and metal rods gathered at the hostel to express their angers over the senseless beating of their friends. Outside the hostel's compound, a group of local men also gathered with baseball bats and metal rods. The situation was tense, but luckily, the college authority managed to calm the situation.

I viewed this attack as an act of racism. As a practical man, I accept the fact that racism exist everywhere, and all over the world. In Malaysia, the civilized people practice tolerance, respect, and appreciation of other people ethnicity, religion, and culture. But sadly, there are also some uncivilized idiots who are incapable to respect the rights of others. Manifestation of violences seemed to be their only protective mechanism to impose their ignorances on others.

One word of advise to the foreigners. Forget about those smiling faces depicted and marketed by the tourism promotion board, those smiles can be very deceiving. When you are in Malaysia, please refrained from dating the local women. Because there may be an army of inferiority complex men out there, thinking that you are being insensitive to their little or lack of manhoods, by dating their local women.

Well, what can I said ? It seemed to me that, these attackers are not only uncultured, but also uncivilized. No insensitivity intended, but somehow, I do suspect maybe the descendants of wild animals from the nearby jungles are involved in the senseless attacks. Blardy farking uncultured racists ! Blardy shameless morons. My apology for spewing profanities, but these barbaric racists' actions did indeed made me very angry. These idiots are nothing but a bunch of sexually deprived and neutered two legged stray dogs.

Are you offended ?

A 6 minutes video clip of Negara-ku in rap style produced by a Malaysian and posted on the Youtube has attracted unprecendented attention both locally and abroad. The video clip attracted more than 500,000 visits ! Out of curiousity, I visited the site. No offense intended, but I do find the video clip comical, humorous, amusing, and entertaining. Beyond that, we should refrained from politically and racially interpreting negative insinuations between frames.

Sometimes, we should allow ourselves to take a humorous look at ourselves, among ourselves. Life would be pretty pressurized and un-purposeful if all Malaysians are conditioned to take offense in any slightest jokes or unintended slurs. After all, are we Malaysian that thin-skinned and righteous ? I have seen even worst racial rhetorics shouted in well organized political parties, and nobody in the political gatherings felt offended. On this score, I don't think Wee Meng Chee, a Malysian currently pursuing his higher education in Taiwan's Ming Chuan University, intended to offend the national anthem, religion, and the various races in Malaysia. I believe he is merely artistically expressing his concerns and frustrations out of greater love of his country. .Sometimes, artists do have unconventional way of expressing their patriotisms, we should learned to respect their freedom of expressions.

As a young man, Wee artistically voiced out his "voices of dissents" and satirically reflected his frustrations and perception of unbalanced truths in the 6 minute video clip. Instead of unneccessariy instigating ourselves to the state of being easily offended, and initiatiate investigatation to legally held him liable under the Seditious Act, we should be more open minded to respect freedom of expressions, and to study Wee's "song of dissent", to better understand the frustrations of young Malaysians. Wee had also said that he has no intent to be seditious or to attack the Government. Let us take it as that and view his video clip as merely a piece of art work from a patriotic rebel, and try our very best to appreciate his artistic talent. Looking at his simple production of the video clip, I tend to agreed that, Wee is indeed very talented. Let us not simply invoked the needs to observe sensitivity, respect, and patriotism to drown voices of disents or frustrations. Who are we to say that Wee is not patriotic ? And what does patriotism really meant to all of us ? On a positive note, at least Wee manage to bring greater marketing awareness of Malaysia into the cyber world !

Let's all discard those fatalistic and unproductive mentalities of being easily offended. Let's demonstrate our civility of accepting and appreciating criticisms in whatever forms, be it jokes, satires, serious statements, unintended slurs, or whatever. In our eagerness to defend our prides, sensitivity, and honours, had our actions been consistent with what we claimed to be ? Are we what we said of others ?

I strongly believed that all Malaysians are patriotic citizens. We had never failed to come together and pool our resources when confronted by crisis and external challenges. In our eagerness to defend the honour of our country, race, and religion, we should seriously asked ourselves whether we are being patriotic by silencing the voices of "disents" from other patriotic Malaysians. Why not take note of all those voices of disents as a term of reference for formulating and implementing social justice policies to make Malaysia a greater country in the eyes of the world ?

To Wee, if Voltaire is still alive, he will probably say this again - 'I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it'.

Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance

This year's Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance falls on on Sunday, 15 April 2007. The ceremony will be held at Warsaw Ghetto Square, Yad Vashem, Har Hazikaron, Jerusalem. The Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day, also known as Yom Hashoah in Hebrew, is a national day in Israel to remember the six million Jews, including 1.5 million children, murdered in the Holocaust during World War Two.

Lest we forgot, the Holocaust was the most painful tragedy of mankind's modern history where millions of innocent people and children were murdered due to misguided hatreds and racial pariahisms. Survivors and descendants of the holocaust survivors continued to silently screamed in pain inflicted by the past emotional and psychological scars. I guess I am not wrong too assume that, generations and generations of Jews will continue to hate the Germans for their past misdeeds. It is my sincere hope and prayer that the present generation of Jews can have the grace and magnanimity to let go of the burden of hatreds, let not the hatreds be passed to the next generation to let the emotional wounds bleed forever. Let not the children be taught to hate the children of your enemies, for they are all innocent souls with potential for greater generosity, passion, and love.

Remember we must, otherwise, mankind will never learn from this painful and shameful history. We must not deny the existence of the holocaust due to our political, religion, and racial biases and preferences. We must not forget the sufferings of all those innocent souls who was tortured and murdered by all those misguided racists with misplaced hatreds. Let us all be reminded of these sufferings and let not history repeat itself. Let us all have the moral courage to not keep silent or collaborate with misguided opportunists to cause misdeeds and ill treatments on other group of fellow human beings. Let us all stand firm to have the sanity and morality to reject all forms of human rights violations, inequality, and racially motivated political propaganda.

It is my sincere prayer that, the present Israel learned from this terrible holocaust, please do not do unto others what others do unto you, and practice great restraints to not allow herself to be provoked into using her superior military advantage to cause sufferings to her neighbours in the name of self defense. It is also my sincere prayer that Israel's neighbours respect Israel's rights to exist, and not allowed herselves to be influenced by religious intolerance and racial pariahs into senseless and unprovoked violences with Israel.

While the Jews are conducting traditional rites of public bereavement on this day of sorrows, let us all share their pains and pledge not to be influenced or manipulated by insanity to germinate another seed of future genocide against Israel or other group of people. Never ! Never ! Never ! Would wars and violences conducted in the name of GOD bring peace ? God ( be it mine or yours ) want all of us to live in peace and celebrate the sacredness of life, but not glorifying deaths or sufferings ! Please put aside religion's biases and misplaced hatreds. Be shameful of our past misdeeds, learn the lesson, talk the language of love, tolerance, mutual respects, and have the courage to embrace PEACE. Religions and racial harmony should be used to promote peace and betterment of life. Please stop all these despicable acts of using the good names of religions and racial ignorances to promote further misdeeds and hatreds. Do you derived satisfactions seeing the sufferings of innocent people and children ?

May the souls of those who perished during the holocaust rest in peace. May God lessen the pains and memories of the survivors and their descendants. Om mani padme hum... Om Namo Amithaba Buddha.

Discriminations ! He said.....

The Umno Youth Complaints Bureau's Chairman Datuk Subahan Kamal has accused the Ministry of Human Resources of not doing enough to help Bumiputra graduates to secure employments in the private sector. According to him, some Bumiputra have to resort to driving taxis to earn a living. He also alleged discrimination against Bumiputras by Giant Hypermarket in Shah Alam. He has also asked the Ministry to enforce a 30% quota for bumiputras employee in the private sector.

Although I know UMNO is a very influential Malay political party in Malaysia. But, as a Malaysian, I do felt very hurt by the insensitive demands made by UMNO. After 50 years of independent, we are still resorting to racial politic to make demand. Personally, with due respect to all Malaysians, I would like to view UMNO's demand as reckless and irresponsible. By insisting on private sector also giving preferential treatments based on race is discriminatory and racist.

The pot calling the kettle black ? But again, with modern cooking gas and washing liquids, the pot and kettle resting in the modern kitchen can also be bloody shinny all the times. I rolled my eyes and shaked my head.......

The funny things is, when I go to Giant Hyper mart in Subang Jaya, I do see a lot of Sabahans working there. Aren't this Sabahan also Bumiputras ? or do we now have different classes of Bumiputra ? Of course, I also notice a substantial number of foreigners (I believe they are mostly Pakistanis and Bangladeshis ) working in the hyper mart. But these foreigners basically took up jobs that most Malaysians are reluctant to take up. We should be grateful to all these foreigners ! For they are also contributed significantly to Malaysia's economic miracles. Let us not now discriminate them simply because there are some Malaysians now want their jobs back. So what are the issues here ? Oh yah... silly me, general elections is coming soon.... there are always wannabe emerging from nowhere to seek political popularity.....

The Umno Youth Complaints Bureau's Chairman claimed that many Bumiputra graduates resort to driving Taxis. But, what's wrong with becoming a Taxi driver ? After all, it is an honorable profession. I once took a taxi in an oversea country, the taxi driver was a graduate with Master degree. He see it as a honourable way to gain legitimate income to support his family. I believed, to live an ethical life, there must be mutual respect for other people professions. Please, in your eagerness to glare your racist intents, do not degrade other professions. Beside, how many Bumiputera graduates are Taxi Drivers ? Honestly, tell us HOW MANY.

How about the plights of all other unemployed "Malaysian" graduates ? Wouldn't it be better to use your political knowledge working with the industries and the Ministry to map out strategies to help all unemployed Malaysian graduates to gain employable new skills and qualifications ? Why it always has to be shameless and selfish rent seeking parasitic demands and blaming the private sectors for the country's mismatch of economic resources ?

By August 31st 2007, Malaysia will be 50 years old. A middle age nation in an increasingly competitive world. To ensure our Jalur Gemilang continues to wave with pride in the world, our mindsets has to change ! We have to work as a single TEAM Malaysia, not TEAM MELAYU, Not TEAM CINA, Not TEAM INDIA, not TEAM MAMAK, etc... All those uncultured mentality of rent seeking and grievance seeking must stop. Otherwise, we will end up as a mugabed nation shouting to be an international champion among the pariahs.

Malaysia happens to be a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council, for a start, maybe all those shameless wannabe politicians should take a course in understanding the basic documents and declarations of the United Nations Human Rights Council, understand it, and practice it in Malaysia. 50 years....... was it 50 years of nation building ? was it 50 years of rent seeking ? was it 50 years of grievances seeking ? was it 50 years of racist demanding ? I don't know.... you tell me.....

Why create intended misplaced animosity

Selamat Malam Malaysia

I have no intention to offend the feelings of any Malaysian. Perhaps my wronged observations misguided me to write this log. But this is my honest observations and sincere rantings of concerns. I whole heartedly submit my apology if my observations and comments are biased or ill conceived. But please bear in mind, I am a Malaysian and I care for the wellbeings of all Malaysians regardless of racial and religious origins.

It used to be, Malaysians are proud to be Malaysians. We stand tall in the world arena to demonstrate our cohesiveness as a united nation of tolerance, moderateness, and our accomplishments. In 50's, 60's, and 70's, as a nation, we are not so well off economically, but as a nation, our people are happy. We supported each other to scale greater achievements. We are proud of each other successes. And, we are proud to be Malaysians. Those are period of golden era of our nationhood. But we are not what we used to be. and, if we continued to allowed ourselves to be racially divided, we will never be what we want to be.

It pained me to see families committing mass suicide because they see no way out in their hopeless financial desperations. Crimes are being committed by Malaysians because they are marginalized to the extend that they can't find any meaningful economic opportunities to make a decent living.

Look at us now. In the 21st century of modern comforts, we are generally more educated but sadly has became less learned. We are now less tolerance of each other beliefs, culture, and way of life. We begin to put up barriers among ourselves. Malaysians are no longer Malaysians. We are now Malay, Chinese, Indian, Iban, Kadazan, Eurasian, etc. We are now no longer achievements oriented as a nation. We are now more interested to bring down each other in the hope that the failures of other groups of Malaysians glorifies our non accomplishments. The sad fact is, we are at times jealous of other Malaysians successes and achievements, when we failed, we blamed others for our failures.

As a Malaysian, I believed in what I see. My observation is, we are begining to be racially and religiously intolerance of each others. Who among Malaysians should be credited for instigating and propagating this dangerous racial intolerances and hatreds ? And who is responsible for dividing this nation ? Let us be honest to ourselves. We are what we are now because, in our selfishness, we allow ourselves to be manipulated by racial and religious pariahs. The smeared finger prints of these parasites are all over the places. But we choose to condone and accept these immoral infringement of human rights simply because we are too naive to believe that it defended the special rights and privileges of our narrow minded selfishness.

In the name of race and religion ? How about in the name of Malaysia ? In the first place, if we consider ourselves as Malaysians and treat each other with honour, respect, and fairness, what rights and privileges of ours are being eroded ? Aren't we blindly fighting each other and unwittingly perpetuating the stay of immoral politicians and rent seekers ? Malaysia Bolih or Malaysians Bodoh ? If we persist in our political arrogance and decadence ways, we may ultimately end up as Malaysia Bohlui ( a bankrupt nation )!

Selfish politicians being what they are, tend to instigate racial emotions and portrayed themselves as defenders of racial rights to gain and sustained their position and power. Do these politicians genuinely interested in safe guarding and promoting the welfares of their own racial groups ? I don't know for sure whether these politicians has contributed to the well beings of Malaysians. But as a layman, I would like to think otherwise. For the past 20 years, what have these selfish politicians accomplished except creating racial disharmony and economic havocs ?

In the national emblem of Malaysia, there is this little slogan which state very clearly that "Unity is strength". But what unity are we talking about ? From what I see is, we have desperate politicians seeking to perpetuate their unwelcome stay in power by rallying racially motivated statements to solicit popularity. In the name of race and religion, do these sickening politicians understand the contributions and sacrifices of other Malaysians ? The seeds of dangerous flames for divisive racial sentiments, intolerances, and hatreds have already been planted. Instead of dousing it with statements and actions of harmony and peace, we have these irresponsible and rent seeking politicians going around with fans and bucket of kerosene trying to make the flames bigger hoping to be the accidental heroes and elected by racial pandering.

It is acceptable to champion and seek more rights and privileges for our own ethnic groups within the context of creating new wealths for all Malaysians. But in our eagerness to pursue this selfish racially motivated objectives, have we consider the plights and wellbeings of other Malaysians. Are we being fair to each other as Malaysians ? Do we honestly believe in human rights ? What we are doing now, is it consistent with our religious beliefs and moral upbringings ? For whatever it is worth, please tone down your languages and be sensitive to each others.

I believe in only ONE flag. That is the the flag of Jalur Gemilang. I shall carry this flag in the special corner of my heart. Be fair to all Malaysians, ask yourselves, what flags do you believe in ? In the name of Malaysia and as a righteous Malaysian, I urge you to reject racial politics now. Let's stand united to be proud ethical Malaysians. Let us work together as Malaysians NOW to built better foundations for FUTURE Malaysians. Let us all move forward in unison as a United Nation.

What will it be ?

I watched in silence the live telecast of a political party's general assembly recently. For two days, I watched in silence, horror, agony, and sadness. The insensitive languages being used, the tones of arrogances, the uncultured gestures being waved, and the psychological fears being intentionally delivered to intimidate fears to other Malaysians, are ruthless and irresponsible. Can I blamed them, after all, it is a race based political party. The leaders and the delegates are all out there to prove their ethnicity to whore for support. All race based political parties in Malaysia have the tendencies to be racial champions without giving due regards to the sensitivity and fragile racial relationship in Malaysia. But coming from a political party which is the main component of the ruling government is irresponsible.

I presumed majority of Malaysians have had enough of all these insensitive racist remarks and demands. These political insensitivities are not acceptable acts of human decency. These are despicable acts of desperateness of politicians trying to cling on to power and position. Politic has always been a noble profession of human development and advancement, but sadly, there are always people out there to make it resembled the oldest profession of mankind.

Do we have to resort to that level of insensitivity to instigate misplaced hatred and angers against other segment of Malaysian society ? Have we become a shameless rent seeker ? By the way, I am already immuned to all these smelly fartings in the air. In the name of wealth sharing, I am already too lazy to work harder, I will have to learn to make just enough to cover my overheads. Why should I work so hard to pay more taxes ? I definitely do not wish to be in position where my hardwork being misleadingly translated into denying other people's opportunity to accumulate wealths.

Is Malaysia a united nation ? I have my doubt know. If I can gauge it correctly, after so many years of nationhood, we are still shamelessly invoking racial issues to gain political mileages. The air of sentiments displayed are not about protecting the rights and privileges of respective racial groups. But rather, to blame others for their incapabilities and failures. Would it make them look good to erode the rights of other Malaysians ? Would it make them feel better if other Malaysians failed ? When would we be able to rid ourselves of fingers pointing and the crab mentality ? Is it so difficult to conduct self analysis in an unemotional, scientific, and rational manner to rid ourselves of ignorances ?

There will always be knife waving politicians going around to arouse the emotionally charged narrowminded people to instigate hatreds and misplaced angers. We will always have wannabe politicians seeking publicities by making racially inappropriate speeches one after another to cause discomforts to Malaysians of other ethnicities. What would it be, if the youth chief of the MCA also waved KuanKong's Sword of Justice at its General Assembly ? I seriously do not know what MIC's youth chief would waved in their General Assembly if we keep persisting on irrational display of ethnicity.

We talked so much about mutual respect. We expect others to observe our sensitivity, and arrogantly, we are not capable to reciprocate the sensitivity other people accorded to us. Sad, isn't it. Cakap tak serupa bikin ! Our actions are always inconsistent with our words !

We have become arrogantly intolerance, and politically decadence. We are no longer capable of looking at issues and resolved them in the spirits of fair play and due respect for human rights. It always boiled down to our perceived special rights, privileges, and whatever that comes into our fancy. Exactly, what nonsense are we not capable of ?

We swore to protect with our blood and life, and romanticized race and religion's special rights and privileges. Big talks, and empty vessel makes the most noise. But honestly, what are the rights and privileges that have been denied or eroded ? Wouldn't it be better if the perceived and misplaced stupidity be discussed in a more civilized and factual manner ? Why are all these desperate politicians, which I believe constitute only a very small number, be allowed to go around inciting hatreds and unnecessary fears ? To sustain popularity and position by stirring racial emotions is despicable and lacked of moral upbringings. Only uncultured people resorted to desperate act of intimidations and fears mongering. Majority of Malaysians are extremely tolerance, and their silence does not mean they consented to narrowmindedness and extremities of bigotry and racial intolerances.

Majority of Malaysians loved and cherished peace and harmony. But do these small group of unconsciously ignorance and intolerance political desperados understand the meaning and values of peaceful cohabitation and harmony ? There are wealths all over the places to be created ! All we need to do is to work hard, and work as a team to acquired it and share it. By envying how much money other people have and demanding a share without making any efforts to work for it is not going to get you anywhere. Do you seriously think the wealths of other Malaysians fell from heaven ? Are your rights and privileges being denied simply because some other Malaysians choose to work hard and sacrificed their time, sweats, and blood to acquire wealths and comforts ?

We demand sensitivity to our way of life and culture, but how do we reciprocate sensitivity ? Why not spread words of goodwills, love, and tolerances for other races, cultures, and religions ? Why not look within ourselves to find out how we can work harder together to create and share wealths among Malaysians ? Why not accord respect for the achievements of other Malaysians ? The bottom line is, do we want to look at ourselves as Malaysians, or do we want others to accept us us as narrow minded racially motivated pariahs ?

The answer my friend, lies in our hearts. Tuhan already kurniakan rakyat hidup makmur dan bahagia. Please, be a Malaysian. Learn how to appreciate the contributions and sacrifices of other patriotic Malaysians. Focus all your energies and efforts to wealth creations for all Malaysians. Stop blaming other hardworking people for your own failures.

Rights to Intolerances ?

Has it occured to you that intolerance is a new form of mental sickness ? There are times human beings are subjected to psychological and emotional intimidation to conform to unfair thoughts, opinions, and threats. A sane man will usually walks aways from these ignorant fools rather than to confront to suffer fools' irrationalities. But, how far can human beings strecth their limits to accomodate these intolerances ? Shouldn't there be a mental institutions to confined those self proclaimed righteous intolerance and ignorance people into mental institution to minimize harms to humanity ?

Usually, people suffering from mental illness are deluded from reality. They are incapble of differentiating rights from wrongs. They live in a virtual world of halucinations surrounded by delusions. Sometimes, they turn violences, and sometimes they become vocal with their obscenities. Look around you, isn't that these characteristic of mental illness resemblanced intolerance people.

Self righteous intolerance people actually idolized freedom, yet in the name of God and racial rights, they ignorantly and sometimes violently robbed the rights of others. They are incapable of appreciating the diversities of differences. They felt threatened by values of others. Violences and incitements of hatreds are their only mean to defend their values and opinions. They seemed to think that the world owes them a living, and they want their rights to be respected, but felt that it is their religious and racial rights to deny and trespasss the rights of others. Hypocrites are all the same wherever you go.

What happened to the idea of open mindedness of imparting and receiving knowledges. We are at times critical of others' opinions and way of life. But at the same time, due to prejudices, cultural, and racial ignorances, we are also incapale to conduct self criticisms or accept criticisms from others. And the worst of all, due to our rent seeking mentalities, we expect others to denouce theirs rights to allowed us to behave like arrogant thieves to rob others.

Why human beings as a whole, are no longer capable to exposed their minds to other people's opinion, idea, belief, rights, and way of life ? Why are we now so narrow minded to the extend that we take it as a threat whenever our idea, opinion, religion, rights, and way of life are being challenged or subject to criticism or examination ? What happened to the free spirits of intellectual arguements and discussions. Is our sensitivity that thin, and our belief that fragiled, that we have to resort to intimidation and violences to reclaim our misplaced pride and honour ?

Does it make sense and morally right for the so called defenders of freedom resorting to sending young men and women to invade other countries to restore freedom ? Does it make sense and religiously correct for religious leaders to instigate violences against non believers to propagate their religious values ? In the first place, if the followers understand what they are fighting for, there will be no wars or violences. We are now in a sad state of highly educated but ignorantly not learned.

A small group of self righteous intolerance people, contaminated with the perils of irrationalities and misguided values, are vocally causing dismayed fears and making the world an unsafe place to live. Is it right for the majority of decent human beings to live under the threats of these small group of dieseased people.

No, it is not right at all. And it is insane to take their words as gospel truths. These lunatics should be put into mental instituions so that proper psychiatric care can be provided to them to eliminate further damages to humanity. The United Nations must set-up an international uniformed force to go into those countries to arrest these lunatics, put them on trial on international courts, and rehabilitate them in mental institutions. I am not preaching therapeutic conformism of universal values, but there must be a stop to all these lunatics with their immoral self righteous intolerances. Unlimited tolerances to the social dieses of intolerances will eventuality drive humanity to destructions.

Perhaps, I am sicked and tired of narrow minded people with intolerant attitude, constantly demanding censorship and forcing silences on words and media on the thin excuse of not wanting to upset the fragile mentalities of a small group of noisy, rent seeking, and intolerance mental retards.

Do we forever want to put ourselve undersiege to allow small group of intolerance people to violently barged into and ended civil discussions simply becuase these small group do not have the mental and intellectual capabilities to engage in healthy and productive intellectual discussions ? Do we accept their barbarities as an accepted form of righteousness ? So we force the silence on the law abiding citizens to apease these self righteous intolerance mental retards ? Looking back at history in totality, aren't we willingly allowing the decadences of cultures which we claimed to defend and protect ? On the other hand, aren't we moving into a world of Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World" of thoughts control by subjecting ourselves to close minded censorship and conformity of what "truths" to discuss and what "truths" not to be challenged ? Projecting this state of irrationality further, I would not surprise that, 100 years from now, there will be a scientific unification of all religions, maybe we can called it "the temple of love". Aren't we slowly inching ourselves toward a real non secular state of political Utopia? Am I wrong to state that culture of intolerances has become a real fabric of the world where it is effectively used as a political tool to ensure selfish conformity in many parts of the world ?

We are living in a world of contradictions. "Truths" are at times, hand picked and are not allowed to be contested in the name of sensitivities of intolerance people. Can these truths be given every opportunity to be argued and disputed ? As much as I want to contradict the so called "truths", but I am also mindful of the fear of persecution and intimidation. Of course this is my perception, but nevertheless, the fear, to me is real. How can a "truth" be accepted as "truth" when it is not allowed to be publicly deabted and rigourously examinated ? Should these so called "truths" be accepted simply because the intolerance people presumed that they are priviledged to determine what is right and the rest are wrong.

The sadest part of humanity is, self righteous intolerance people are begining to churned out hatespeeches and hatreds in the name of freedom of speech. But, at the same times, masked behind religion and racial sensitivities when their basis of values are being questioned and examined. It is absurd to be told that the rights of intolerance people to intolerate and trespass into others' rights can not be questioned or discussed simply because it is sensitive.

It is indeed sickening to see pariahs unshamely churning out politically correct speeches to justify intolerances in religion, race, and culture. The world will be a much better place, if everybody, for a start, can put aside religion, race, and culture to enggage in intellectual discussion and arguement to root out intolerances. Wouldn't it be better if all of us can have the civility and gentlemanly conduct of able to agree to disagreed, and to accept and respect differences among us ? Why behaving like animals to demand, trespass, and seek unequal rights to have bigger territories and domoninances over others ? It is disgusting and despicable for human being using religion, race, and culture as a platform to justify intolerances.

To the so called God fearings and religious people ? Remember, it doesn't matter how many times you pray, or how hard you perceived yourself to be religious. Insincere prayers and faked religiousness are all counted as sins. You shall reaped what you sow. Judgement day awaits you. See you in HELL. Heheheheeeeeee.

When the seasons go round & round........

Life is never fair and never perfect.
At one time or another,
or at one place or another,
unfair and biased abuses causes rage,
misplaced angers, and Irrational emotions.
Consequently, the environment surrounding us becomes a dangerous habitat.

In the midst of this hostile environment,
I am reminded of an analogy involving the great man, Buddha.
A man shouting abuses to Buddha, In reply,
Buddha said “Kind man, if the giver give the gift to the receiver,
and the receiver refuse the gift, the gift's ownership belong to who ?
The giver or the intended recipient ?”
The man said “of course, the ownership is with the giver !”
Buddha said “Good, in this case, I refuse your abusive words.
Please take it all back. You shall be the owner of your own abuses.”

In life, we don't have to carry the burden of abuses,
hatreds, racisms, discriminations, misplaced angers, violences,
and unfair treatments from ignorant sub-species.
Ignore them, let them carry the burdens of their misguided deeds.
If on earth, they refuse to accept heaven, and
heaven shall be a living hell to them in their after life.

God in his graceful way always find a way to handle these sub-species.
In life, there is always a choice for us to define our living environment.
We don't have to subject ourselves to live with extreme realities.
Some choose to make their environment an utopia, and
some choose to make it a hell and forever live in misery, jealousy, and angers.
A misguided soul will never find peace and happiness in Life.......

Not too long ago,
a narrow minded soul with misplaced angers told me,
that his father was a dedicated arm force personnel,
that his father risked his life to fight and defend the country.
So we must not forget history, and as a son,
he must be given more privileges in this country.

Silently and under hot toiling sun
my father, a vegetable seller,
worked day and night,
to make enough money,
to contribute to the bullets,
uniforms, and wages for the uniformed personnel.

They said, bullet does not discriminate.
But so is sweats, determinations, and hard earned money....

So, ungrateful arrogant sons,
please remember the many sacrifices
of all the silent patriotic men.

Forget we must not.
But this country is not founded
by fathers of the ungrateful and arrogant sons only.
This country is evolved and constituted
by people from all walks of life,
with their sweats, tears, and hardworks.
In their own unselfish way,
they had silently and willingly contributed
to the success and sovereignty of this country.

So, please do not be misguided by selfish desires
to conveniently rob the rights of others.

So, am I supposed to claimed more privileges,
because my father contributed to the feedings
of the uniformed personnel,
who in turn defend the country ?

The question you should ask yourself is,
What are your contributions thus far,
that has contributed to the betterments of future generations ?

Do we want to forever
live like parasites begging for special privileges ?
Is that how you want your children to emulate ?

The future is for us to determine.

Let us has the self respect of not having
to live on other people past.
Yes,
our fathers has sacrifices and contributed a lot,

Making the most of the best and brightests

The writer for the article, Making the most of the best and brightest, Datuk Zaid Ibrahim, is a Member of Parliament for Kota Baru, Kelantan, Malaysia.
First and foremost, I respected his candid opinions on lack of meritocracies in a chauvinisticaly regulated environment adopted in Malaysia. He has put forward a moderate opinions on developing the human capital of Malaysia and country as a smart country. A good intention, but I doubt the present administration has the political wills and backing of the elitists.
First and foremost, with due respect, let me put forward this observation in relation to Datuk Zaid's opinion :
After more than 48 years of independent, we are still the uncounciously willing victims of the colonist's “divide and rule” policies. The present administration is still adopting the “Bumiputra and Non-Bumiputra” approach in implementing official policies. Malaysians are still required to mark their “Racial Origin” in all official forms. Political parties are formed along racial lines. The sad fact is, we are still kowtowing to the old and outdated colonist's system.
The original concept of “Islam Hadhari” as championed by the Prime Minister is a good and practical system that ensure balance development of infrastructures and environment, fairness and equality for all Malaysians, and the creation of knowledge societies based on culture of innovative mindsets. But in reality, I do not see any real promotion for the implementation by any governmental organizations.
In most part of the world, governmental initiative of affirmative actions basically means the adoption of small preferential treatments for minority groups at the expense of small sacrifices of the Majority groups. But in Malaysia, the affirmative action is based on the concept of the minority groups supporting the Majority groups. Economically speaking, I doubt this can go on perpetually in the long terms.
In reality, we are still bounded by the Marxism of the early century of social contracts and social engineering without taking into consideration of the present global's competitive environments. The noble ideas of social contracts initiated and formulated in the 50's is obsolete and no longer valid. But out of convenience, and as human beings, greeds and selfishness compelled us to hold on to these material gains and demand more along racial lines.
The bottomline is, are we willing to sit down in a round-table as Malaysians and think as a Malaysian to formulate policies and strategic directions ? Or do we still want to sit down in a round-table as Malay, Chinese, Indian, Kadazan, Iban, etc. to champion each other's racial rights at the expense of the nationhood of Malaysia ? The choice is really at the hands of the elected representatives sitting in the parliament of Malaysian.

Government nannying and restrictive affirmative action policies will hinder the development of Malaysia’s human capital, argues ZAID IBRAHIM. THE emphasis on the development of human capital under the Ninth Malaysia Plan is appropriate and deserving of special mention. It is true that the development of infrastructure and superhighways has propelled this country to great heights, and to sustain this economic well-being, we may require more "hardware" to support higher economic output. However, it is impossible to maintain our present economic status, let alone achieve developed nation status, without world-class manpower and highly skilled workers. What is needed is a holistic approach to creating a framework whereby knowledge and skills are developed; where society puts a premium on ideas and the country values people who are intelligent. As aptly said by Sir John Rose, CEO of Rolls Royce: "In future we will speak less and less about underdeveloped, developing and developed countries; but more and more about smart, smarter and smartest countries."
Do we have this policy of building a competitive world-class knowledge society, with a First World mindset that the Prime Minister advocated in his 9MP speech? It is easier said than done, and I believe this prong of the Plan is the most challenging to achieve. First, we must subscribe to meritocracy as a desirable and valuable proposition; which is worthy of support as it is an ethical proposition. Only through a vigorous adoption of this policy can we achieve a world-class economy. How else can we garner the best and the brightest to serve the country if we are not resolute about developing and nurturing them? It is impossible to get the best to serve the country in any field of human endeavour unless we value and reward them accordingly.
The emphasis on meritocracy does not mean we have to abandon our desire to help the disadvantaged among us. The compassion we offer to the less fortunate and the less gifted must continue. However, no allowances should be made to accommodate mediocrity and laziness. Every citizen must be given their just place under the Malaysian sun. Intelligent, innovative people are demanding, mobile and wanted the world over. Where necessary, we must induce and encourage young Malaysians to return home. I have met many young Malaysians overseas who express a longing to come back, if only they are recognised and valued. Some of them are "not qualified" — they did not obtain a credit in Bahasa Melayu, or pass the SPM or equivalent examination or are the casualties of poorly executed government policies. But should they not be accommodated through the adoption of flexibility in the application of rules in exchange for the skills and expertise they have to offer?
I did not obtain a credit for Bahasa Melayu, not something one should be proud of. But one can still contribute and serve patriotically without it. In those days, a credit in Bahasa Melayu was not a prerequisite for university admission, scholarship awards or applications to join the civil service, as long as one had other suitable qualifications. If we are more flexible about such matters, we may be able to persuade the best to return to serve the country.
Secondly, we must overcome this obsession with racial statistics within the various contexts — corporate ownership, the civil service, the number of professionals in the country, and student ratios in schools and universities.
I am not asserting that existing affirmative action policies established to assist Bumiputeras should be abandoned. I believe the best way to assist Bumiputeras is to nurture their competitive streak by restoring their self-belief and pride; and inspiring and encouraging them to earn their stripes like others.Past or existing affirmative action policies extending assistance to Bumiputeras must be reviewed to remedy drawbacks because these have contributed to unhealthy practices and inculcated a feeling of alienation among some Malaysians.
The way to develop a healthy society with considerable social capital is to re-instil a sense of harmony and solidarity among the various races. The negative aspects of the New Economic Policy must not be glossed over but resolved with care and objectivity.
Policies that are unnecessary or demean the capability of the Bumiputeras should be removed. Of what value is the five per cent discount for wealthy Bumiputeras when buying luxurious property, or giving children of senior government servants scholarships to study abroad?
Surely the elimination of such practices reflects our progressive ethical values. It will also enable us to extend the benefits to other deserving Malaysians. Why are we so obsessed with numbers vis-a-vis other Malaysians when the actual adversaries are those from outside, equipped with more capital, knowledge and military power ready to consume us?
The eradication of racial politics and policies will provide a conducive environment to nurture and foster intra-community trust whereby social capital will then develop from which economic benefit will consequently follow.
Third, the development of manpower capabilities requires an environment that is conducive to intellectual growth and stimulation. Such an environment would encourage and promote the rational pursuit of knowledge, reward healthy competition and be pragmatic in its approach.
Religion can be a powerful force for progress to the extent that it nurtures rationality and objectivity, encourages accumulation of wealth and promotes ethical behaviour.
However, if religious pursuit nurtures irrationality and intolerance, inhibits or is ambivalent about material pursuits and over-emphasises the "other world", then its adherents are likely to be indisposed to economic development, and may even be susceptible to passivity and prone to a fatalistic world view.
Therefore, we need a freer environment with little or fewer dogmas and restrictions in our rules or policies. We must be willing to grant some autonomy to our academic institutions, protect freedom of expression to allow our media to comment and inform without fear of prosecution, and nurture intellectual growth through open debate by academics on crucial issues of public importance. There is a need to allocate adequate financial resources for research and development to enhance their scholarship.We must have the freedom to access information and literature, to explore ideas and seek knowledge without rigorous censorship from Jakim (Malaysian Islamic Development Department). These are fundamental prerequisites in a society that values knowledge, ideas and innovation. We must adopt and adapt the cultural values of the First World if we are determined to compete against them on the playing field of knowledge.
There is plenty of hogwash among the plethora of ideas and practices from the smart countries of the West. However, that is the challenge for the citizens to identify and sift through. The Government must have faith and confidence in the people to allow them the freedom to make informed choices about what is good for them. Knowledge, wisdom and experience, more often than not, are to be found from the most unlikely of sources, and an over-protective, paternalistic Government would only inhibit the growth of its own people.
