General Elections is coming... so here come a bunch of parasites trying to champion the poor with various political engineering. It was suggested at a political gathering that the “Rich” must pay More, and the “poor” pay Less for petrol. Now the government machineries are looking into ways of making this political scheming realized. The question is, are these politicians seriously and honestly interested to help the poors ?

Malaysia is not a socialist country, neither it is a communist country. We are a democratic country based on free enterprise spirit. Naturally, when you work harder, willing to take risks, and creative in getting things done, you will make more money if you made it. But because you worked hard and made more money, the politicians seemed to think it is okay to do some price discrimination on you. What if you failed in your business ventures ? Is it then acceptable to force Mercedez, BMW, and Volvo vehicle owners to pay higher petrol price compared to Proton car owners ? Is it okay to allow the “Mat Rempits” to enjoy cheaper petrol and encourage more hell ridings on the streets ? Or perhaps, maybe by extending the social contract to imitate the housing prices where non bumiputra pay higher prices for petrol ?

We seemed to think that it is okay to rob the rights of others under the guise of whatever agenda we think it is justifiable to extend our political popularity. It is this kind of entitlement mentality that give rise to indiscriminate breeding of rent seekers. I just sincerely hope that this proposal for price discrimination on petrol will not eventually turned into a racial based pricing policy. We are not a communist country, so let us not be deluded to think that it is okay to discriminate the perceived rich under the pretext of helping the poor. We respect human rights, so let us not be so despicable to think that it is okay to discriminate others based on religion, race, and culture.

The issues the politicians should indulged themselves are to formulate policies and infrastructure to lower the cost of living, lower the cost of doing business, and reduce the bureaucratic procedure to make the economic environment more business friendly. Stones stepping on emotional issues of blaming the rich for the politicians mismanagement of economy is totally unacceptable and despicable. And, I think it is equally immoral and despicable for racial pariahs to perpetually harping on racial and religious issues to perpetuate their stay in power. Please wake up and be accountable for your actions.

Helping the poor ? The question is, who are the poors in Malaysia ? Over the previous 20 years, what had been done to help the poor ? It is sad to note that thousand of legal professionals marched into Palace of Justice to demand Judicial accountability. It is extremely sad to also note that 100,000 Malaysians from all walks of life resorted to go into street in peaceful rally to express their suppressed dissatisfactions and demanded accountabilities from the government on November 10, 2007. Perhaps, the elites and rich politicians has been out of touch with realities and spending too much times hiding in their coconut shelves decadently dividing the racial cakes among themselves. It break my heart to see police firing tear gas and chemically laced water canon into the peaceful rally to disperse the crowd and drown the voices of people. And yet, our pariahs seemed to think that Malaysia now has the moral rights to criticize the tyrannical affairs of Burma and Pakistan.

“Saya pantang dicabar” or in English “It is a taboo to challenge me” ? May I humbly request the politicians not too be so arrogant to challenge the rights of the people, because “Rakyat pantang dicabar” !

No insensitivity or disrespect intended, but if we keep putting indirect threats on bloggers because we disagreed with what they wrote, what does that make us ? A patriotic Malaysian ?

Let us all not be so narrow minded. If we do not like or are incapable to accept criticisms from bloggers, let it be, walk away, and move forward with positive actions. Is it too much of an asking to have some basic decency and civility to respect the rights of others to freedom of expressions ? If we are transparent and accountable to our actions, rumours will die a natural death. So, why some ignorant people are still so preoccupied with perceived rumours, lies, and untruths ?

All of us have different perceptions and opinions on certain issues or events. What make us think that we are entitled the moral authority to enforce our views, opinions, and perceptions on others. Gone are the days of apology seeking, grievance seeking, rent seeking, and intolerances. Crying baby will no longer gets the milk, but probably self inflicted sore throat.

During the Qin dynasty, the emperor Qin Shi Huang, confiscated and burnt all books because he want to "standardize human thoughts, and to prevent free thinking" that may erode his authority. Subsequently, he became a ruthless tyrant. Although he ruled less than 15 years, but China was damaged into a period of backwardness for many centuries. Pol pot of Cambodia killed millions of educated Cambodians in order to sustain his stay of power, but eventually he died a pitiful death, and Cambodia is now on the road of recovery. The point here is, freedom of expression is a God given rights, not privileges. It is immoral and against God's wishes to suppress this rights. For peace and harmony, freedom of expression must be nurtured and encouraged to facilitate greater free flow of information for the sake of humanity and the nation.

What benefits does the nation enjoys if bloggers are indirectly threatened to refrain from writing honest opinions or write what the elitists want to read ? Let us not be regressive into an era of "frog hiding in a Well ( 井底蛙 )" or "Frog hiding under the coconut shelf (Katak di bawah tempurung)". Malaysia need to be progressive and move forward to greater wealth and prosperity. All those narrow minded mental retards who oppose freedom of expressions, are merely dead weights, tagging along with their extended shelf lives to hinder the political and social development of Malaysia.

I do sincerely hope bloggers and politicians can appreciate this quote from the Venerable Master Ching Kung " Speak words of fairness whether in anger or in joy. Help them even if they have severed all ties with you. Show concern towards those who are ungrateful towards you. Forgive those who have ill intent. "

May all Malaysians be enlightened with sincerity, purity, righteousness, and equality. Let us all not be so selfish to perpetuate our own rights at the expense of others. Let us also appreciate and respect the rights of others. Do not do unto others what you do not want others to do unto you...... Om Mani Pedme Hum.....

It rains, therefore it leaks......

In other words, he is saying that, because it rains, therefore, it leaks ! It is as simple as that. Well, it sounds logical to me. What is the issue ? Why are all you ignorant Malaysians still complaining here and there about our leaky parliament building ? Can't you people see, this is THE act of NATURE ?

Asking for more millions $$$ to water proofing the building ? Come on, give us a break ! What for ? A few leaky problems here and there are not going to make life any more difficult for the politicians. At least they still have a leaky roof over their heads. Why not spend the money to build more community halls and facilities that REALLY benefit the poor Malaysians ?

What say you brother ?

A circular state, condoms, and don't trust your man.....

Recently, the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia insisted that Malaysia is an Islamic State, not a secular state. The sentiment attracted various reactions. The Bar council president clarified that Malaysia is a secular state, a legal expert said that Malaysia is neither a Secular nor an Islamic state, MCA's Vice President says that Malaysia is an Islamic Country and not an Islamic State, etc. etc. Pi mai pi mai tang tu ! We are a middle path country that is neither here nor there (it does sounds like a Buddhist philosophy). Evan Almighty, all these while, we are indeed a "Circular State" of insanity ? Well, whatever, who cares about the politicians' executive priviledge of incompetent interpretations ?

General Elections is coming round the corner. Politicians, being politicians, tend to say whatever that is neccessary to be racial champions to fish for more votes to perpetuate their stay in power. May be, to put a stop to all these pre-elections nonsenses, the Prime Minister of Malaysia should forward our sacred document of constitution to a panel of constitution experts appointed by United Nations to provide a non biased interpretation to all Malaysians. There is no points for everybody to beat their chests like monkey reacting to has-beens trying to show their alpha arrogances and political decadences.

I sincerely hope, all politicians will not resort to bring up religious and racial issues from now till General Elections times to seek publicities and popularities. Let's hope these wannabe politicians have the cow senses, responsibilities, and patriotisms to not instigate angers and perpetuate ignorances through racial politics. My observation is, Malaysians of all racial origins have no problem working together and standing united. It is the politically bankrupt and narrow minded politicians that are causing problems to national unity. Just my sincere and frank observations, not offends intended.

So much about Malaysia's politics. let the politicians fart whatever and whenever they want. I believe, most Malaysians had already made up their minds on who to vote for come elections time. So, out of Malaysian courteousy and begged respect, perhaps, we should let those politicians whose political shelf life are nearing expiry date to talk through their rear orifices as much as they want. Let them have their own general erections while the times are slowly running out on them.

Malaysian politics is so predictable and is getting a bit too boring. Let us take a look at the land of Karma Sutra, India. According to Renuka Chowdhury, India's Women and Child Development Minister, "Indian men can not be trusted in their sexual behavior and are the causes of the country's HIV epidemic". Insinuated by her, the HIV problems arise because Indian men are too embarrassed to ask for condoms, and Indian women have little power to negotiate safe sex with their husbands. Maybe, Renuka Chowdhury, as a Minister, should parade in public the condoms used by her husband to encourage other Indian men to always have a pack of rubbers in their pockets.

Not long ago, I did read an article, saying that standard size condoms are too big for small Indian's penises. Perhaps, that could be the sole reason why Indian men are reluctant to use condom during sexual intercourse. To say "Indian men can not be trusted" is, I think a bit too feministly insensitive to male ego.

Quite encouragingly, India has launched a $ 3 billion 5 years plan to fight AIDS with strong focus on the promotion of condom usages from 2 billion condoms to 3.5 billion condoms by year 2012. I hope the Indian government do not end up buying oversized condoms, otherwise, it would a case of 3.5 billion condoms ending up in all the wrong places.

Forget about whether we are a Secular or Circular State, let's not waste our breaths arguing about our state of being or not being. The bread and butter question here is, can I get a grant from the government of Malaysia to built a factory to produce Indian size condoms ? I think with our abundance supply of natural rubber, there is a huge market potential for good natural rubber condoms. The second question is, is it against God's teaching to produce Condoms ?

By-election or Buy Erection ?

Almost 90% of 12,272 registered voters of Ijok exercise their democratic rights in the April 28th 2007 by-election. The by-election was necessitated by the state seat that fell vacant due to the death of Barisan Nasional assemblyman Datuk K Sivalingam. The Ijok be-election was won by the Barisan Nasional's K parthiban with a majority of 1,850 votes against the Parti Keadilan Rakyat's Tan Khalid Ibrahim. The 9 days of campaigning was marred by several reported incident of violences and intimidations. The well oiled Barisan Nasional's government machineries also launched millions of ringgits worth of infrastructure project to entice the voters. A dump site which was complained by residents for the past nine years was also suddenly closed. Let's us hope that the dump site will not be reopened after the by-election. Millions Ringgits in infrastructure projects are promised to entice only 12,272 registered voters ? While the two political parties fought it out in the by-election campaigns, the Ijok's voters enjoyed erections from all the promised goodies from the government !

It looks like the only way ( or so it seemed ) to enjoy development goodies, benefits, and privileges from now on is to pray for more by-elections. Let's all joined in prayers............

Dear Yang Berhormats, while we are waiting to see which constituency is lucky enough to bless with another by-election, in the mean time, would it be possible for all of you, the noble politicians, to consider abolishing the toll charges, reduce the petrol prices, and distribute the RM 80 billions annual profits of Petronas to all Malaysians ? And maybe also bring down the electricity tariffs, the telephone tariff, etc. Just my humble wish list.

Sincerely, I am praying very hard to have a by-election in my contituency. Hehehehe......

Is it okay for me to fart also ?

Tun Mahathir Mohamad, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, praised the Iraqi insurgents for their roles in the Iraq's conflicts. He deliver the words of encouragement to the insurgents on February 7th 2007 where he convened an ALTERNATIVE War Crimes Tribunal to fight for 'justices" for abused victims in Iraq, Palestine, and Lebanon. In respond to Mahathir's forum, the Foreign Minister, Syed Hamid Albar, said Mahathir is FREE to express his views as citizen of Malaysia because "This is a free and democratic country and it's very nice to see freedom being exercised"

How nice to have a former senior politician from Malaysia wanting to fight for INJUSTICES in the world. I am indeed deeply touched by Mahathir's passions to fight for justices for NON MALAYSIANS, and Syed Hamid's assurances of allowing Malaysians to exercise FREEDOM OF EXPRESSIONS.

Wow, what a noble gesture and intention ! But, before we start beating our chests, looked and commented on other countries' backyards. Why not for a start, Mahathir champions a Domestic Human Rights Crimes tribunal in Malaysian to fight for equality and justices for all Malaysians first ? Why not initiate actions to identify, shame, and prosecute racial pariahs, grievances seekers, and rent seekers in Malaysia ? These good deeds of championing equality, justices, and human rights in Malaysia will gain him more domestic and international respect and score more credit points from GOD. Our words in international arena should be consistent with our actions domestically. Otherwise, we will always end up being viewed as international pariahs by civilized societies.

I have limited political knowlege of the Middle East. But, ONE fact I do know, those warring parties in Lebanon, Iraq, and Palestine are always perpetually at wars with each others and among themselves, where all the parties always claimed God is on their sides, and they always potrayed themselves as the aggrieved parties. Let us as Malaysians have the moral impartiality of not getting involved in other countries affairs where we have no knowledges. And, I believed we will never be able to understand the madness there. So, let us not be blinded by our misguided hatreds or biases to blindly take side and indirectly become a guilty party that encourages more violences in that lands of perpetual warfares.

By being influenced by our misguided biases to take side will eventually perpetuates and encourages the warring parties to commit more violences. And, let us not put ourselves in the vicious cycles of violence begetting more violences. Malaysia, as a signatory of the charter of United Nations should allow and support United Nations' effort to manage the middle east's conflits there. So, I guess we do need to behave in accordance to our commitment to the charter of United Nations and not let emotional comic strips behaviors influencing our moral objectivities. If we think the United Nations is incapable of implementing fair international justices, then we should have the moral courages to withdraw our membership in the United Nations. Otherwise, keeping our mouths shut and refrained from biases would be much appreciated by the civilized world.

Another War Crimes Tribunal ? Fighting for injustices and inequalities in other part of the world ? Please lah, let's us practiced what we preached in our domestic affairs first before we ventured outside the country with perceived inappropriateness.

As a young boy born into a migrant family, my father told me this country is a beautiful country and land of opportunities compared to his "motherland". He took up jobs that no other Malaysians wanted to do. He worked hard to earn wages to support his family, law abiding, and donated generously when there are calls that touched his heart.

He joined the home guard to defend the security of the country, and joined local political party to promote interest of his community. In his little way, he contributed to the economic progress and nation building of Malaysia. He teaches us to respect the national flag and inculcate loyalty to the country. At the end of his life, he died a proud Malaysian but in his tired eyes, I see a sense of deep regret. A deep regret that, he has not been fairly treated by his adoptive country simply because there are too many racial pariahs and religion fanatics running around like rabbied dogs.

Now, I am the second generation Malaysian. I am born a Malaysian. My "motherland" is Malaysia. I have my ups and downs living in this "blessed" land. Honestly, I can "run" to other countries like my father before me, but I now, it doesn't matter which land I landed, at the end of the day breathing my last breaths, I do not want my children to see my eyes of regrets. Idiots and bastards can hurl whatever racial slurs such as "China ah pek", "go back to China", etc. Idiots and bastards can also demand rights and privileges along racial and religion line to perpetuate recognition of their inferiority complex. But I am born a Malaysian, I have no intention to run to anywhere, I shall make my last stand HERE. Good begets good, and bad begets bad. I shall reciprocate the treatments I received.

So go ahead, be an international pariah going around the world farting faked righteousness, justice, and religiosity. You honestly think it is religiously correct and morally acceptable for you to impose unfair biases to your own countrymen in your own country ? Honestly, we are what we said of others. The world is a stage, and I am enjoying watching the clowns farting their misguided moralities and justices.

I was told not to believe the news sources from foreign media and newspapers because they are biased. But looking at the local newspapers and media, would I want to subject myself to their propagandized stupidities ? I am an educated man, don't you think I am a better judge than all those unconsciously incompetence and decadence rent seekers ? What makes you think I should subject myself to be intellectually and mentally abused by the immoral half truths or intentional non reporting of truths ? Truth and morality is indeed has became a a rare commodity. I resorted to reliance on news sources from other countries, and I stop buying local newspapers or watching local TV programmes for many years already. But does that made me an ignorant man ? I don't think so ! I am now a better informed man capable of differentiating truths, half truths, and lies.

I see faces of agonies on the victims of the recent floods in southern Malaysia. I do not even bother to blink my eyes or show any emotion or sympathy. Have I become an uncompassionate man ? Truth of the matter is, I don't care any more. After all, why should I ? Aren't these the job of righteous politicians ? Why should I bother ? Let those hotshots in the power hallways demonstrate their competency in managing the plights of suffering Malaysians, otherwise they will end up having too much time indulging in unproductive communal politics and arrogant demands. Between communal politics and human miseries, which is more important ?

If I have became an uncompassionate man by your definition, then don't blame me ! Blame it on the system of 50 years of social engineering. I am merely an educated man trying his best to adapt to the system. I have learned, the world is not my stage..... In the mean, say or condemn whatever you want about me, I have adapted and become one of "them". I am loving every moment of sipping my black aromatic coffee while watching the clouds move and listening to the swirling winds.

Much ado about pork soup

I read an interesting news article from France just now. According to the news article, the French police raided a charity soup kitchen run by Solidarity of the French (SDF) and shut down its operations. According to the French police, the ( pork ) soup handouts is racist and discriminated against Jews and Muslim. For religious reasons, Jews and Muslim do not eat pork.

However, the French court rejected the Police claim and ruled in favour of the charitable organization, allowing its soup kitchens to continue to offer pork soup to the homeless, and anybody who asked for help. The Mayor of Paris, Bertrand Delanoe, was outraged by the court's decision and urged the French police to appeal the ruling. He said "Faced by this initiative which stinks of xenophobia, I want once again to express city hall's desire to fight all forms of discrimination, racism and anti-Semitism."

Come to think of it. I really love the French people. Their poetic politicians are religiously sensitive, historically romantic, and sentimentally patriotic. I do not know much about the French men. And I for one, happened to have very high regards for French women. Due to my previous limited exposure in Quebec, Canada, I would like to consider French women are the most beautiful and sexy women on earth. I love the phonetics of French tongues savouring their sexy lips. I am not an MCP, but credit must be given if it is worth the mention.

Coming to anti discrimination on religious ground. I just wonder, whether the mayor of Paris would also consider banning any beef soup ? Because the Hindu are forbidden to eat beef on religious grounds. For chicken soup, can the mayor take measures to ensure that the slaughtering of the chicken go through the Islamic's "HALAL" process ? If the chickens are "halalled", we may have another problem, because some fanatical non-Muslims are forbiddened to eat HALALized chickens because it is against their religious belief ! By the way, wines and liquors are also forbidden to certain religions. Please remove wines and liquors from all your official functions. Animal (horse, dog, etc.) racing is a form of gambling, and gambling activities are also forbiddened in some religions. etc. etc... So here you go, and the list goes on..... Thank you so much for your righteousness and sensitivity.

Bonjour Monsieur Bertrand Delanoe, after you removed "discriminatory" practices in food preparations and servings, can you also look into another issue that is also equally discriminatory and righteous ? Maybe, perhaps, maybe you can also championed the French people to banned import from and export to racist or human rights abusing countries ?

Show the world the French's way of sensitivity, tolerances, righteousness, and morality ! Let the world learns from France. Maybe the United Nations Headquarters should be relocated to Paris !

In the name of religion sensitivities, I do really wish some sensitive souls out there can observed my religious sensitivities and minority rights !!!! Crying baby always gets the milk ? Can somebody out there teach me how to cry with big droplets of crocodile tears...... ?

Selamat Malam Malaysia

I have no intention to offend the feelings of any Malaysian. Perhaps my wronged observations misguided me to write this log. But this is my honest observations and sincere rantings of concerns. I whole heartedly submit my apology if my observations and comments are biased or ill conceived. But please bear in mind, I am a Malaysian and I care for the wellbeings of all Malaysians regardless of racial and religious origins.

It used to be, Malaysians are proud to be Malaysians. We stand tall in the world arena to demonstrate our cohesiveness as a united nation of tolerance, moderateness, and our accomplishments. In 50's, 60's, and 70's, as a nation, we are not so well off economically, but as a nation, our people are happy. We supported each other to scale greater achievements. We are proud of each other successes. And, we are proud to be Malaysians. Those are period of golden era of our nationhood. But we are not what we used to be. and, if we continued to allowed ourselves to be racially divided, we will never be what we want to be.

It pained me to see families committing mass suicide because they see no way out in their hopeless financial desperations. Crimes are being committed by Malaysians because they are marginalized to the extend that they can't find any meaningful economic opportunities to make a decent living.

Look at us now. In the 21st century of modern comforts, we are generally more educated but sadly has became less learned. We are now less tolerance of each other beliefs, culture, and way of life. We begin to put up barriers among ourselves. Malaysians are no longer Malaysians. We are now Malay, Chinese, Indian, Iban, Kadazan, Eurasian, etc. We are now no longer achievements oriented as a nation. We are now more interested to bring down each other in the hope that the failures of other groups of Malaysians glorifies our non accomplishments. The sad fact is, we are at times jealous of other Malaysians successes and achievements, when we failed, we blamed others for our failures.

As a Malaysian, I believed in what I see. My observation is, we are begining to be racially and religiously intolerance of each others. Who among Malaysians should be credited for instigating and propagating this dangerous racial intolerances and hatreds ? And who is responsible for dividing this nation ? Let us be honest to ourselves. We are what we are now because, in our selfishness, we allow ourselves to be manipulated by racial and religious pariahs. The smeared finger prints of these parasites are all over the places. But we choose to condone and accept these immoral infringement of human rights simply because we are too naive to believe that it defended the special rights and privileges of our narrow minded selfishness.

In the name of race and religion ? How about in the name of Malaysia ? In the first place, if we consider ourselves as Malaysians and treat each other with honour, respect, and fairness, what rights and privileges of ours are being eroded ? Aren't we blindly fighting each other and unwittingly perpetuating the stay of immoral politicians and rent seekers ? Malaysia Bolih or Malaysians Bodoh ? If we persist in our political arrogance and decadence ways, we may ultimately end up as Malaysia Bohlui ( a bankrupt nation )!

Selfish politicians being what they are, tend to instigate racial emotions and portrayed themselves as defenders of racial rights to gain and sustained their position and power. Do these politicians genuinely interested in safe guarding and promoting the welfares of their own racial groups ? I don't know for sure whether these politicians has contributed to the well beings of Malaysians. But as a layman, I would like to think otherwise. For the past 20 years, what have these selfish politicians accomplished except creating racial disharmony and economic havocs ?

In the national emblem of Malaysia, there is this little slogan which state very clearly that "Unity is strength". But what unity are we talking about ? From what I see is, we have desperate politicians seeking to perpetuate their unwelcome stay in power by rallying racially motivated statements to solicit popularity. In the name of race and religion, do these sickening politicians understand the contributions and sacrifices of other Malaysians ? The seeds of dangerous flames for divisive racial sentiments, intolerances, and hatreds have already been planted. Instead of dousing it with statements and actions of harmony and peace, we have these irresponsible and rent seeking politicians going around with fans and bucket of kerosene trying to make the flames bigger hoping to be the accidental heroes and elected by racial pandering.

It is acceptable to champion and seek more rights and privileges for our own ethnic groups within the context of creating new wealths for all Malaysians. But in our eagerness to pursue this selfish racially motivated objectives, have we consider the plights and wellbeings of other Malaysians. Are we being fair to each other as Malaysians ? Do we honestly believe in human rights ? What we are doing now, is it consistent with our religious beliefs and moral upbringings ? For whatever it is worth, please tone down your languages and be sensitive to each others.

I believe in only ONE flag. That is the the flag of Jalur Gemilang. I shall carry this flag in the special corner of my heart. Be fair to all Malaysians, ask yourselves, what flags do you believe in ? In the name of Malaysia and as a righteous Malaysian, I urge you to reject racial politics now. Let's stand united to be proud ethical Malaysians. Let us work together as Malaysians NOW to built better foundations for FUTURE Malaysians. Let us all move forward in unison as a United Nation.

Tuhan kurniakan, rakyat ( all Malaysians ) hidup makmur dan bahagia. May Malaysia be forever a properous and righteous nation.

What will it be ?

I watched in silence the live telecast of a political party's general assembly recently. For two days, I watched in silence, horror, agony, and sadness. The insensitive languages being used, the tones of arrogances, the uncultured gestures being waved, and the psychological fears being intentionally delivered to intimidate fears to other Malaysians, are ruthless and irresponsible. Can I blamed them, after all, it is a race based political party. The leaders and the delegates are all out there to prove their ethnicity to whore for support. All race based political parties in Malaysia have the tendencies to be racial champions without giving due regards to the sensitivity and fragile racial relationship in Malaysia. But coming from a political party which is the main component of the ruling government is irresponsible.

I presumed majority of Malaysians have had enough of all these insensitive racist remarks and demands. These political insensitivities are not acceptable acts of human decency. These are despicable acts of desperateness of politicians trying to cling on to power and position. Politic has always been a noble profession of human development and advancement, but sadly, there are always people out there to make it resembled the oldest profession of mankind.

Do we have to resort to that level of insensitivity to instigate misplaced hatred and angers against other segment of Malaysian society ? Have we become a shameless rent seeker ? By the way, I am already immuned to all these smelly fartings in the air. In the name of wealth sharing, I am already too lazy to work harder, I will have to learn to make just enough to cover my overheads. Why should I work so hard to pay more taxes ? I definitely do not wish to be in position where my hardwork being misleadingly translated into denying other people's opportunity to accumulate wealths.

Is Malaysia a united nation ? I have my doubt know. If I can gauge it correctly, after so many years of nationhood, we are still shamelessly invoking racial issues to gain political mileages. The air of sentiments displayed are not about protecting the rights and privileges of respective racial groups. But rather, to blame others for their incapabilities and failures. Would it make them look good to erode the rights of other Malaysians ? Would it make them feel better if other Malaysians failed ? When would we be able to rid ourselves of fingers pointing and the crab mentality ? Is it so difficult to conduct self analysis in an unemotional, scientific, and rational manner to rid ourselves of ignorances ?

There will always be knife waving politicians going around to arouse the emotionally charged narrowminded people to instigate hatreds and misplaced angers. We will always have wannabe politicians seeking publicities by making racially inappropriate speeches one after another to cause discomforts to Malaysians of other ethnicities. What would it be, if the youth chief of the MCA also waved KuanKong's Sword of Justice at its General Assembly ? I seriously do not know what MIC's youth chief would waved in their General Assembly if we keep persisting on irrational display of ethnicity.

We talked so much about mutual respect. We expect others to observe our sensitivity, and arrogantly, we are not capable to reciprocate the sensitivity other people accorded to us. Sad, isn't it. Cakap tak serupa bikin ! Our actions are always inconsistent with our words !

We have become arrogantly intolerance, and politically decadence. We are no longer capable of looking at issues and resolved them in the spirits of fair play and due respect for human rights. It always boiled down to our perceived special rights, privileges, and whatever that comes into our fancy. Exactly, what nonsense are we not capable of ?

We swore to protect with our blood and life, and romanticized race and religion's special rights and privileges. Big talks, and empty vessel makes the most noise. But honestly, what are the rights and privileges that have been denied or eroded ? Wouldn't it be better if the perceived and misplaced stupidity be discussed in a more civilized and factual manner ? Why are all these desperate politicians, which I believe constitute only a very small number, be allowed to go around inciting hatreds and unnecessary fears ? To sustain popularity and position by stirring racial emotions is despicable and lacked of moral upbringings. Only uncultured people resorted to desperate act of intimidations and fears mongering. Majority of Malaysians are extremely tolerance, and their silence does not mean they consented to narrowmindedness and extremities of bigotry and racial intolerances.

Majority of Malaysians loved and cherished peace and harmony. But do these small group of unconsciously ignorance and intolerance political desperados understand the meaning and values of peaceful cohabitation and harmony ? There are wealths all over the places to be created ! All we need to do is to work hard, and work as a team to acquired it and share it. By envying how much money other people have and demanding a share without making any efforts to work for it is not going to get you anywhere. Do you seriously think the wealths of other Malaysians fell from heaven ? Are your rights and privileges being denied simply because some other Malaysians choose to work hard and sacrificed their time, sweats, and blood to acquire wealths and comforts ?

We demand sensitivity to our way of life and culture, but how do we reciprocate sensitivity ? Why not spread words of goodwills, love, and tolerances for other races, cultures, and religions ? Why not look within ourselves to find out how we can work harder together to create and share wealths among Malaysians ? Why not accord respect for the achievements of other Malaysians ? The bottom line is, do we want to look at ourselves as Malaysians, or do we want others to accept us us as narrow minded racially motivated pariahs ?

The answer my friend, lies in our hearts. Tuhan already kurniakan rakyat hidup makmur dan bahagia. Please, be a Malaysian. Learn how to appreciate the contributions and sacrifices of other patriotic Malaysians. Focus all your energies and efforts to wealth creations for all Malaysians. Stop blaming other hardworking people for your own failures.

Glass houses for "Yes" Men ?

I read a reader's letter to the NST's editor today, and find it quite interesting. Interesting because it clearly reflect Malaysian's inability to accept criticisms and our own ingrained narrow mindedness. We are after all living in the legacy of past administrations' censorship mentality. The environment has conditioned us to be submissive and accept what has been forced down our throats. We have been so narrow minded that, our first reaction is to silence those who criticized us with angers, and sometimes, threats of violences. And we arrogantly and unfairly denied other people the rights to express their opinions simply because these opnions are not soothing to our ears.

The former Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Anwar Ibrahim was subject to the same treatments. Now, the former Prime Minister, Tun Mahathir are ask to shut-up simply because we are embarrassed by his criticisms and opinions. So what does that make us ? Live high with false moral standard and held our head low with tails between our legs ( yes, some of us do have long emotional tails because we are still entrapped with the intelligence of chimpanzee ), forever say YES, and forever live on Hand-outs. Isn't that some of us are told not to bite the hands that feed us ? As a result of this mental suppressions, we forever romanticized the American's freedom of speech. We go around the world to demand the rights to criticize others, but whenever we are criticized, we react irrationally.

So, people who live in the glass house should not throw stone ? Hello, are you a mental retards ? This is the 21st century. There are no more glass house out there. Glass house is only for little girls with moronic intelligent. Which glass houses you are refering to ? That one you build for yourself or the one you build to cage the person you intent to demonized ? However, I respect your rights to entrapped yourself to forever live in your mental glass house. But please, in your eagerness to silence others' right to expressions, please have the moral decency of not forcing people to live in your mental glass houses. We should move forward to accept a more open and tolerance society. We should not be guided by incompatible philosophy that move us closer to a future society that is intolerance and narrow minded.

Is it our cultural norm to demonize those who longer in power simple because they choose to voice differing opinions and criticisms ? Kacang should breakfree from its kulit, but kacang should never forget its kulit !

I am not an admirer of Tun Mahathir. He has his time. He no longer hold executive power in the Government. Of course, to some, it is counter productive to be seen to be at his side. Is this what politics are all about ? Real Politics ? But as long as he still has his last breath, he should be given all the rights to express his opinions and criticisms. He is merely discharging his duty to the country by voicing out what he felt is not rights. Again, he could be wrong. But isn't that what democracy is all about ? Isn't that what the present administration promised to all Malaysians in the previous general election - A transparent government that is gemilang, cermelang, and terbilang ?

I still have faith in the present Abdullah's administration. I know, he is eager to bring Malaysia to greater heights. He is eager to leave his legacy of social developments. But in his eagerness, he should also listen to differing opinions. Having said that, I am also beginning to acquire admirations for Tun Mahathir. At the age of 80+, he is still so passionate about the well beings of Malaysia, to the extend that, he is willing to subject himself to humiliations by standing up to what he believed should be righted.

To all those who are not comfortable with Tun Mahathir's criticisms and opinions, I like to say this to you, show your emotional maturity by giving him the rights to voice his opinions and criticisms, and most important of all, do not shut down his avenues for expressions. Who knows, Tun Mahathir may be right.

In the name of freedom of speech, I say, let Tun Mahathir talk, and let him present his facts and arguments......... If you silenced him because you felt that he is wrong, then what does that make you ?

TODAY, I would like to share a proverb with you as it seems to suit the present situation. Are you familiar with the saying "People who live in glass houses should not throw stones"? Lately, I have been wondering whether you have lost your ability to discern, since even my older sister, who has always been a full-time home maker, understands the full explanations given by the present administration and others about the "crooked bridge" and the sale of MV Agusta plus all the other issues you raised.She was puzzled when she read of you saying your queries regarding these issues had not been answered and wondered aloud how much clearer an explanation was required. It is not that I question your intelligence, but I just hope that what others said — that only when the answers are what you want to hear would you accept them — is not true. That is saying that you are being biased or prejudiced and cannot accept the truth when it stares you in the face.Being a product of the science stream, and a medical doctor to boot, I am sure there must be some misunderstanding since scientists think logically and only accept clear, precise explanations — and the Government has done just that since even home makers understand the rationale behind the decisions made. Do you remember the story about the curious girl Pandora, who was told not to open the magic box? Of course, she did not listen and released all of mankind’s woes but fortunately "Hope" was also released. You have done the same but I am not certain you will emerge unscathed as now all kinds of charges about your administrative style are being bandied around by all and sundry.I just pray that there was a "Hope" somewhere in that box you opened to salvage the high esteem and respect that you used to command from the Malaysian public when the current brouhaha dies down. I used to be an admirer and regarded you as a national icon, but lately the petty things and personal attacks emerging from you are so unbecoming of an elder statesman.So just remember: "People who live in glass houses should not throw stones."
