Coffee prevent diabetes ?
An 11-Year Prospective Study of 28,812 Postmenopausal Women by US researchers, Mark A. Pereira, Emily D. Parker, and Aaron R Folsom in Iowa, USA has concluded that “Coffee intake, especially decaffeinated, was inversely associated with risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus in this cohort of postmenopausal women”. The report also state that women who consumed 6 or more cup of coffee daily were 22% less likely to develop diabetes than women who did not consumed coffee. The findinds is published in The Archives of Internal Medicine, U.S.A. ( Vol. 166 No 12, June 26, 2006). The report is available HERE.
