Malaysia, 49 years later......

On August 31st, 2006, Malaysia will be cerebrating her 49th years of independent from the British administration. Looking back, of course, we are better off than before. At least, we don't have to kowtow with the Ketuanan Kwai Loh. The British influence in Malaysia is so significant that we even named two of our favorite local fruits after the Kwai Loh - Ang Mor Lurian and Ang Mor Tan. Perhaps, maybe we should also renamed one of our exisitng species of monkey as Ang Mor Kow.

Coming back to Independence from the British, the British has been going around preaching human rights and equality, but in the first place, they colonized Malaysia and indoctrinated Malaysian minds with the most despicable concept of "master and slave" racial relationship. During those day, we have to called the Kwai Loh, Tuan. This mental domination has been indirectly perpetuated with the grouping of "Commonwealth Countries" where Queen of England is the patron of the Group. Sadly, in this modern times, we still have mental retards and idiots in Malaysia committing racial Seppuku in idolizing and masturbating with the concept of "Ketuanan" or "master & slave" racial relationship. We must all have the moral realization that, the colonial times is a bygone era and has been disgraced, Malaysians are all born equal now in this land of perpetual sunshines.

During the previous 49 years, Malaysians scaled the highest mountain in the world, built the tallest buildings, construct the longest bridge, we also almost have the most beautiful and scenic bridge, etc. etc. In fact, we have achieved many firsts in the world ! In the name of bolihism, we should be proud of ourselves in all these material accomplishments.

Nationalism and patriotism are the 2 most politically correct words to use for the time being. But I doubt, most Malaysians understand the true meanings of these two words. To some, the patriotism and nationalism mean resorting to emotionally waving the national flags and shouting slogans. Some may go one step further of glorifying our past of how we fight off the "enemies". Some may even made use of this festive period to shout the superiority of their race and religion. We should refrained from trying to emotionally charged Malaysian into emotional rhetorics bordering extremism and fanaticism ? This is indeed a dangerous and obscured thoughts.

Traditionally, we have been taught to look inside the box to solve problems, then we are told to look outside the box to evolve creative thinkings. But in this increasingly dynamic world, Malaysians need to remove and think without the box and be educated on our global roles and responsibilities. We must act and behave like an international humanitarian, respect human rights, respect equalities of races, and be impartial in dealing with international conflicts. We must be secular in governmental administration. There must a clear line between secular administration and religious matters. Politicians should not be indulge in religious matter to garner popularity. Religious matters must be left with learned religious scholars. Religion should never be contaminated by slefish biases and greeds to gain temporary communal political popularity. There must be greater mutually exclusive respect for secularisms and religions.

Domestically, nationalism and patriotism simply mean, we, as Malaysians, must have greater commitment and discipline to help each other irregardless of race, religion, and culture to gain greater scientific and intellectual achievements, respect our environment and habitat, and to appreciate and tolerate the differences among us. We must not resort to emotional rhetorics and violences to resort problems. On the international front, Malaysians must evolve Malaysia into a model statehood for respect of human rights and equality, acceptance of tolerances in differences, respect for varied cultural, religious, and personal expressions, and harmony in racial diversities. In short, in achieving kemerdekaan, there is no point for Malaysians to have the false sense of achieving the status of communal champion but behaving like international pariah in the eye of the world. We really need to look beyond national, communal, and racial interest to accord mutual love and respect for other nationalities, races, and community to cultivate morality and self respect. It is within us to develop greater tolerances and mutual understanding among us to fortified the past efforts of nationhood.

On sentimentalism, of course, the shouting of "Merderka" seven times by the late Tunku Abdul Rahman do recollect the nostalgic and proud moments for Malaysians. But we must all get out from this over glorified emotional escapisms and do our work harder now to propel Malaysia into greater heights for future Malaysians and the citizen of the world. We must learned from the past of the disgraceful colonialism of the invaders by not cultivating a new form of colonialism within among ourselves, where one race attempt to dominate the rest through racial politics. We must be a meritorious and justice driven nation working together and with peace within to showcase our model of humanity to the world.

We should now look into a new form of kemerdekaan to freed ourselves from narrow minded religious, communal, and cultural values that are incompatible with global values. Unqualified communal leaders and wannabes with shallow and biased values must be discarded or rejected. Malaysia must move forward with new globally accepted moral values, pride, transparancy, accountability, and dignity to take its rightful place in the international arena.
49 years from now, I shall look down from heaven and smiles. For Malaysia shall be a earthly utopia for citizens of world, a melting pot for all religions, cultures, and races under warm sunshines and soothing winds.

For the time being, while you are hoisting the Malaysia at the top of the buildings and your children waving flags cheering the national achievements, I shall take a long weekend to indulge in my spiritual escapisms. Peace be with you.

Happy 49th Birthday, Malaysia !

The Neighbourhood Bully ?

A coin has two sides. Are you looking at both sides or just the most convenient side to determine its face value ? We are all educated men hindered by personal biases and prejudices, putting that irrationalities aside, the world will be a better place if we can look at conflicts on "both sides of the coin". Sad. Fanatics, Extremists, Racists, and shallow minded mental retards are all over the world ! When will human being be able to learn from the true teaching of religions and acquired evolved knowledges to look at humanity with fair eyes and kind deeds ?

My learned friend used to tell me that, this world is populated by two classes of people - Religious men with no intelligence, and Intelligent men with no religious values. This concept of duality of universe is indeed a troubled path for humanity to walk on.

The Neighbourhood Bully was written and sung by Bob Dylan is 1983, that was his perspective of the middle east problems more than 20 years ago.......

Don't Cry for me Israel ?

The Neighbourhood Bully
(By Bod Dylan 1983 )

Well, the neighborhood bully, he's just one man,
His enemies say he's on their land.
They got him outnumbered about a million to one,
He got no place to escape to, no place to run.
He's the neighborhood bully.
The neighborhood bully just lives to survive,
He's criticized and condemned for being alive.
He's not supposed to fight back, he's supposed to have thick skin,
He's supposed to lay down and die when his door is kicked in.
He's the neighborhood bully.
The neighborhood bully been driven out of every land,
He's wandered the earth an exiled man.
Seen his family scattered, his people hounded and torn,
He's always on trial for just being born.
He's the neighborhood bully.
Well, he knocked out a lynch mob, he was criticized,
Old women condemned him, said he should apologize.
Then he destroyed a bomb factory, nobody was glad.
The bombs were meant for him.
He was supposed to feel bad.
He's the neighborhood bully.
Well, the chances are against it and the odds are slim
That he'll live by the rules that the world makes for him,
'Cause there's a noose at his neck and a gun at his back
And a license to kill him is given out to every maniac.
He's the neighborhood bully.
He got no allies to really speak of.
What he gets he must pay for, he don't get it out of love.
He buys obsolete weapons and he won't be denied
But no one sends flesh and blood to fight by his side.
He's the neighborhood bully.
Well, he's surrounded by pacifists who all want peace,
They pray for it nightly that the bloodshed must cease.
Now, they wouldn't hurt a fly.
To hurt one they would weep.
They lay and they wait for this bully to fall asleep.
He's the neighborhood bully.
Every empire that's enslaved him is gone,
Egypt and Rome, even the great Babylon.
He's made a garden of paradise in the desert sand,
In bed with nobody, under no one's command.
He's the neighborhood bully.
Now his holiest books have been trampled upon,
No contract he signed was worth what it was written on.
He took the crumbs of the world and he turned it into wealth,
Took sickness and disease and he turned it into health.
He's the neighborhood bully.
What's anybody indebted to him for?
Nothin', they say.
He just likes to cause war.
Pride and prejudice and superstition indeed,
They wait for this bully like a dog waits to feed.
He's the neighborhood bully.
What has he done to wear so many scars?
Does he change the course of rivers?
Does he pollute the moon and stars?
Neighborhood bully, standing on the hill,
Running out the clock, time standing still,
Neighborhood bully.

The Dream Merchant

This Indian old man,
without fail, every morning,
I see him at my favourite coffee shop.
Wearing a pair of old glasses,
a worn out of long sleeve shirt,
a pair of neatly ironed long pants,
and a pair of rubber slippers.
That has been his trademark for many years.

"Sir, next draw 6 Millions" he said.
3 ringgits for a shot at 6 million ringgits ?
why not ?
Every morning, with his warm smiles,
he managed to make me part away with 3 ringgits
When he walked away from my table to the next,
I see his frailed frame teasing my foolishness.
A one in a million chance to strike a lottery !
an educated man betting on the science of probability.....

But old man
3 ringgits is a small insignificant money to me.
I am just a sucker for watching your salesmanship
For everyday, I learn a lesson from you.......
In your unassuming presence,
you have taught me not to take things for granted.
you have taught me perseverance to close a sale
you have taught me patient,
you have taught me value added services,
you have taught me how to smell opportunities,
you have taught me the power of determinations.
you have taught me to see the beauties in routiness,
you have taught me......

Old man,
do you know ?
In peddling your lottery tickets,
you are selling hopes.
You are the dream merchant.
With every three ringgit you collected,
you are giving everyone
a chance to look forward to tomorrow !

But old man,
I sought not riches, fame, or glory...
In my heart, I wish you good health,
so that you can come back every morning.
I do not wish to see your face dissapeared from me......
if that happened, I know,
my morning coffee will not be the same again.

God bless you, old man !
You have a good day ahead.

Worthy is the lamb that was slain........

The Nazi's and Adolph Hitler are good Christians who believed in the Christian values as the foundation for national and family morality. But these idiots are also war mongering military expansionists. They used religion to persecute the jews and initiated wars in Europe. Millions of people are murdered and killed in the name of religion to justify racial hatreds and jealousy.

Bush said God told him to lead Americans against evils in Afganistan and Middle East. I believed Bush is also good Christian. For his hallucinated guidance from God, he commanded America to go into unprovoked wars and political interferences in various parts of the world and thousands of people suffered and died because they aren't one of them ! Am I right to make this assumption ?

An outcast who is infatuated with Whitney Houston and read Penthouse, Playboy, and other pornographic materials to supplement his holy scriptures started a global terrorists network. He lead a group of delusioned and fanatical criminals. In the name of God, they launched indiscriminate attacks against innocent people to gain publicities. Thousand of people are killed and properties are damaged in the name of God. A classic case of religion being hijacked to achieve personal perverted vision.

We know very well that demented personality seeking popularity and political influence will always made use of those stupid unemployed followers to believe that there will be beautiful heaven waiting for them after death if they commit "suicidal holy crimes" in the name of God. This is a sad reality of abuse of faith in religion, resulting in sicked minds and demented killers hiding and lining up to commit cowardice murders in the name of religion. These criminals will go on conducting indiscriminate mass killings using all sorts of religious rationales, and the delusioned apologists will always be there to defend these demented criminals in the name of perceived injustices.

In the name of defending the values of God, fanatical religious followers has started defensive violences to spread , expand, and established territorial grounds for the religion. With more spiritual knowledge, we are beginning to be less confident of our own faiths. We begin to see the need to convert followers of other faiths into our own faiths, we create laws to prevent followers of our faiths convert to other faiths, we expect others to respect our beliefs while we are intolerance to others' perceived beliefs.

I am very sure, God ( doesn't matter which religion ) is all compassionate and just, and it is the will of God that there is no compulsion to submit to God. As a believer in your God, you are expected to love your enemies and show respect and tolerances towards other religions, races, cultures, etc. How can religious men or God fearing persons with superb intellectual capabilities indulged in political conspiracies to poison the followers of their own faith to have such virulent intolerances towards other religions and races ? I still have faiths in my belief. But I am beginning to have the conclusion that some religions have been hijacked by followers of satanic cults. How can words from primitive books breeds so much insanity and violences. Are those words man created or commandments from God ? If absolute power corrupts absolutely, and God is all powerful, then some Gods must be bloody corrupted and evil. Forgive me for my disrespected thoughts on God.

When will this catastrophe of religious extremisms and fanaticism be wiped off from this earth. In the name of your God, don't let this lone voice of humanity drown in your barbaric attempts to unreasonable transgress the limit of human decency. I am very sure, your God does not love transgressors. If you keep invoking the name of God to carry out misdeeds, HELL is waiting for you. And, all those innocent souls wronged by you love to see you burnt in HELL on their entertainment channel in heaven.

A demented world.....

It seemed. Violences, terrorisms, and all those criminal acts associated with human cowardice has become part of our daily life. On the daily basis, we are constantly being bombarded with media interviews of evil looking men justifying their horrible violences in the name of religion, culture, race, and all sort of nonsense. This long and winding road of human evolution, is it called civilization or was it animalization ? Violences as a result of misplaced angers or carefully crafted displayed of emotions is justified as long as we portrayed ourselves as victims or the oppressed. There are always emotionally charged suckers being easily influenced to carrying out further violences on behalf of these evil looking men !

There are always sick minds who abandoned their own country and seek asylum or migrated to the west. But once they are settled in the west and given the freedom and comfort of the new country, they become a traitors to their host country, crying wolf that they are being discriminated, disrespected, and oppressed. So, they beat their chests and punched their fists in the air to demand that their way of life, culture, and religion must be respected and accepted by the rest of the people in their host country. And surprisingly, they are always other equally sicked people in other part of the world cheering them on. Well, these ungrateful people is a disgraced to humanity. Their host country accepted them generously and accorded them with all the rights but in return, they rewarded their host country with cowardice violences to force the rest to submit to their intolerances of other people way of life. Sicked minds think alike and morons seldom differ.

We seemed to live in a world that is increasingly and irrationally sadistically hedonistic simply because we allow ourselves to be emotionally and physically terrorized by narrow minded intolerants.

I was recently told a little story of confused Samaritans. The story goes like this :

A man was beaten up by robbers on a road to London. He lay there, half dead and in bad shape. A community leader came along, saw him and passed by on the other side. Next, a scholar came by but also walked quickly on the other side. Finally, a politician came along, looked at the man and said, "Whoever did this needs help!" and all the three men said "Yah.... we need to understand why the person did this, understand the root cause, ............." But the sad part is, the victim was left there to die !

We are after all, a rare species of pathetic animals. Our disproportionately inappropriate pardonism and dementalism had created fertile ground for criminals and evil doers to manipulate our emotional stupidity to support their animalistic acts. As a result, we reward criminals by inappropriately empathized with their immoral causes and give misguided support and generous publicities to the extend of romancing the terror doers. A despicable act of masturbating with false moral values in an attempt to achieve emotional orgasms.

The problem is, when we allow ourselves to be emotionally linked to criminals without any sense of justice and rationality, we tends to find commonality to be associated with these violent criminals and evil doers. As a result, we empathized and sympathized with their misguided and evil causes. We prefer to listen to the criminals biased stories simply because we romanticized ourselves to be the oppressed. And we seek salvation by striking fears and deliver violences to force others to submit to our dominations and accept our way of life. We became intolerant to others!

I am increasingly sicked of people telling me that, the root causes justifies terrorisms and violences ? Can a rapist justifies his crime because he has been sexually deprived, can not afford to pay for a prostitute, or the victim dressed too sexily ? Stop the bullshitting and self denials ! Be a fair human being, be responsible for your own actions, stop instigating others to commit violent acts, and stop the stupidity of blindly supporting evil doers.

I valued human rights. I valued life. I valued humanity. Did you ?

Siow Kia Kong Lap Sup !

The government had recently said that actions would be taken against bloggers and online newspapers that touches on "sensitive" subject matters. As postings and discussions on these "sensitive" subject matters posed a threat to national security and disturbed the harmony and peace of the existing multi ethnic relationships. Those responsible may also be charged under the Sedition Act, Internal Security Act, and other relevant laws.

What constitute "sensitive" subject matters ? In the context of Malaysians sensitivities, this is indeed a very interesting question ! The concern here is, any subject matter can potentially become a "sensitive" subject. Should Malaysians just hide their heads in the sand or walk away from the responsibilities of voicing their opinions when the subject become sensitive because another narrow minded group claimed it is so ? Aren't we threading on a very thin line of managed liberties ?

The government of Malaysia must deliver its commitment of guarantee under the MSC's Bill of Guarantee to promote the freedom of expression in the Internet. Some bloggers may go overboard or exaggerated in their postings, but the built-in participative mechanisms of the Internet will allow Internet users to read various reporting and opinions on the disputed subjects. The Internet is also a productive venue for Malaysians to have interactive participations or discussions in a civil and educated manner.

Therefore, the best defense for stopping irresponsible postings in the Internet is to ensure maximum guarantee of freedom of expression in the Internet. The government should not subject the online community to threat of prosecutions under various acts such as Printing Presses and Publications Act, Internal Security Act, Sedition Act, etc. Attempt to put online users under indirect threat of persecutions may result in drawing Malaysians away from truly expressing their fears, thoughts, opinions, criticisms, etc.

Ability for a nation to ride the cyber wave to develop a mature information oriented society depend on how sincere a government is willing to encourage greater freedom of expressions on the cybersphere. The government must allow greater expression of differing opinions to mobilize Malaysians into a tolerance society capable of formulating and articulating our thoughts and position in an increasingly borderless world.

Is it legitimate for blogger to voice his frustrations or perceived injustices through online postings ? It is the responsibilities of the government or other concern individuals to voice their disagreements or facts through the same venue to dispute the posted misinformation or misconceptions. It is only through the exchange of differences in opinions via a lively, peaceful, and healthy blogging or interactive online forum that we can promote a civil society - a society that respect law and order.

I guess the government is worried that majority of Malaysians many not be able to differentiate facts and fallacies to the extend of developing unmanageable outburst of negative emotions or violences that may cause racial tensions, riots, or violences. But we also need to realize that, majority of Malaysians are now well educated ( I believe our national literacy rate is above 90%) and are capable of differentiating truths and misrepresentations of facts. Of course, in any country, there are always a small group of biased interest pariahs willing to jeopardize the national interests by instigating non peaceful activities to perpetuate their selfish desires. Narrow minded people with selfish objective will always resort to classifying a subject as "sensitive" whenever it is to their advantaged. Again, the right approach is to reprimand these non peaceful and narrow minded troublemakers, not the bloggers or the online community.

The government should not allow majority of Malaysians to be put under the sieged mentality of fearing to speak out the truth or blowing the whistle against unethical, immoral, and unprofessional conducts and practices in Malaysia. It is my sincere hope that, the current administration have the political wills to adopt a more liberal, moderate, and transparent approaches when dealing in the free flow of information in Internet and other media.

After all, maintaining a web log or blogging, is a very healthy and peaceful fun. If a blogger want to talk nonsense ( like me ), then let him talk. Let him shiok sendiri ! Truth will always find a way out ! Anyway, what harm can a blogger do to the national security ? At least, he is educated enough not to be influenced into wildly participating in street demonstration to show his stupidities to the world....

In the name of respecting sensitivity, if this posting is inappropriate, please do tell me. Sincerely, I will remove it unreservedly, and immediately.

Sunday Morning's Prayer.......

This quiet late Saturday evening or perhaps early Sunday morning, time is not really a great concern to me. Space is what I am in control now ! Yes, almighty, I am indeed a troubled man. I care not for myself, but the consequent of my responsibilities towards the surrounding of my habitat. The eerie silence punctured by occasional sounds of mental mantra chanting escaping my incoherent lips. Is this a source of inspiration or an invitation to venture into my spiritual adventurism ? I don't really care now. I will let the almighty decide my direction of time and space in this moment of temporary reorientation of sanity.

Dear Almighty, mankind has adapted various religion in your name. And, in the name of various religion, mankind has deviated from the compassionate instincts to become intolerance of each other ways of life. Please sprinkle that magical cosmic energies to the hearts of all mankind so that we can see the beauties in each other regardless of the differences in thoughts, words, and deeds.

The emperor of the celestial heaven, my almighty, I seek your gracious interference to restore love and peace into our corrupted hearts and remove hates and violences from this infested earthly garden. With all knowledge gain since the creation of the first sound and light of civilization, mankind have evolved into uncontrollable beasts with unmanaged rages and misplaced angers. With this humble prayer, I seek your divine blessing to enable misguided souls to appreciate this precious limited earthly time left to love one another and humanity.

I seek your blessings to enable fellow human beings to have the courage and the generosity to smile at each other. May the hardened hearts of terrorists be graced to find comforts in compassionate acceptance of walking the path of non violences. May your healing energies surround the areas of wars so that sparkles of hope can rekindled the rejuvenation of lasting peace again in those dark corners of humanity. May the men, women, children, the aged, the educated, and the illiterates irregardless of nationalities, races, and religions embrace each other in the spirit of brotherhood to promote peace, love, health, prosperity, and joy.

May you blessed and guide the wandering spirits and the souls of those who perished in natural deaths, sickness, wars, crimes, disasters, and other acts of mankind's' stupidities. Please allow them to rest in peace and find eternal joy in your kingdom of heaven.

Please remove the fears in our hearts, so that we can learn to love each other again. Help us to suppress hatreds, and eliminate that animal desires to established domination, territorial control, and revenges.

Dear Almighty, we are your children, humanity has lost the sense of beings. The corrupted environment has maketh us the beasts. With this humble prayer from my heart in desperation, I seek your grace and divinity to send your most compassionate angel, Kuanyim, to guide us back into our true purpose of life.

Om mani padme hum. Om namo amithaba Buddha.

Soup of the day....

I received these jokes via email today.

Joke #1
When I went to lunch today, I noticed an old lady near a park bench sobbing her eyes out. I stopped and asked her what was wrong.

She said, "I have a 22 year old husband at home. He makes love to me every morning and then gets up and makes me pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit and freshly ground coffee."

I said, "Well, then why are you crying?"

She said, "He makes me homemade soup for lunch and my favourite brownies and then makes love to me for half the afternoon"

I said, "Well, why are you crying?"
She said, "For dinner he makes me a gourmet meal with wine and my favourite dessert and then makes love to me until 2:00 a.m.

I said, "Well, why in the world would you be crying?"

She said, "I can't remember where I live!!!!"

Joke #2
A very successful lawyer parked his brand new BMW in front of the office, ready to show it off to his colleagues. As he got out, a runaway truck sped by, too close to the curb, and completely tore off the driver's door of the BMW.

The lawyer immediately grabbed his mobile phone, dialled 999, and it wasn't more than 5 minutes before a policeman pulled up. Before the cop had a chance to ask any questions, the lawyer started screaming hysterically. His BMW, which he had just picked up the day before, was now completely ruined and would never be the same, no matter how the body shop tried to make it new again.

After the lawyer finally wound down from his rant, the cop shook his head in disgust and disbelief.

"I can't believe how materialistic you lawyers are," he said. "You are so focused on your possessions that you neglect the most important things in life."

"How can you say such a thing?" asked the lawyer.

The cop replied, "My God, don't you even realise that your left arm is missing? It got ripped off when the truck hit you!!!"

"My God!" screamed the lawyer........... "Where's my Rolex!"

Let the wounds heal.....

Let the wounds heal
( aka peace be with you, Israel & Lebanon )

Roads destroyed can be resurfaced.
Bridges destroyed can be reconstructed.
Buildings destroyed can be rebuild.

But,
Lives lost are gone forever,
Pains and sufferings had became a permanent scars of memories.
Can emotional scars be healed with time ?
Will the sunrise, sunshine, and sunset ever be the same again ?
Can mortal beings rise above the urge of revenge to forgive and forget ?

This bittered winds, breezy and yet gentle.
But when it brushes my face,
it invoked my senses to the reality of mankind's cruelties...
of the animal spirits within us to kills for irrational domination,
of the stupidity within us to refuse to accept each other's right of existence,
and of the intolerance within us to accept others' way of life.
We are after all, animals with no guilts, no mercy, and no civility.

I weep not for you, but your children.
Look within yourselves,
feel your heartbeats with your conscience.
Forget about the past, and rise above your animal desires,
to forgive and forget, and to love and respect your "enemies".
For the sake of your children, and for the sake of humanity,
put aside your differences and learn to respect the rights of others.
Take the first step to heal the wounds,
justify no more for your previous and future aggressions,
and learn to co-exist peacefully and harmoniously.

There is only two religions in this world -
the religion of peace, and the religion of piss.
Which religion you professed ?
In the name of your religion and God,
pass the wounds to your next generation,
and let the wounds bleed forever ?
Or forever lurks in dark corner of humanity
to ruthlessly deepened the wounds of innocent "enemies" for temporary sadistic victory ?
Shouting at God with insincere prayers will not bring peace and prosperity.
Be fair to your children and make the moral choice now !

There is still hope for lasting peace.
Let your heart be the cradle of love, not hatreds or revenges.
Let compassion and fairness heals the wounds within you.
I pray to God that, one day, your "enemies" will kiss you with love.
and there shall be lasting peace in your homeland..........

Sincerely, peace be upon you.

World's top 10 naturally beautiful people

I am, as usual, always fascinated with all things beautiful. According to the UK's Daily Mail, Sophia Loren, at the age of 71, has been voted the world most "naturally" beautiful person. According to Sophia Loren, "Everything I have, I owe to spaghetti." when refering to her physical attributes. Mama mia ! Should I make pasta and italian spaghetti as my wife main staple diet ? Sophia Loren also said "Sex appeal is fifty percent what you've got and fifty percent what people think you've got." Sorry for my ignorant, but at 71, what do you got that made the rest to think that you actually got it ? Ahhh... I can never understand the kwai-loh's.

The following is the list of the world's top ten beautiful person :

1. Sophia Loren
2. George Clooney
3. Charlotte Church
4. Catherine Zeta Jones
5. Johnny Depp
6. Kate Winslet
7. Gwyneth Paltrow
8. Jack Black
9. Cameron Diaz
10. Gail Porter

Hold on a minute, how come it is always the kwai-loh got voted the most beautiful ? how about my local idol and singing sensation, Siti Nurhaliza ? Local lu-rian no good ? and ang-moh-lu-rian taste better ? Putting that aside, I do think Siti is a sweet and beautiful person. Anyway, I would really love to see how ang-mor-kow eat ang-mor-tan and drink kopi-o-peng.

Oh oh... We are at it again !

On 14th August 2006, a local newspaper reported that, a local political party's youth wing has given the green light to its member to burn Israeli flags. It also stated that, it is okay to burn US and British flags. The youth chief has also stated that, its members has no choice but to burns these countries flags to reflect their ( misplaced ? ) angers.

Sometimes, whether we like it or not, these world is full of deceivefull people encouraged and cheered on by other ignorant people. We sincerely should not get ourselves involves in the middle east conflicts simply because the situations there are too complicated for us to comprehend. Majority of Malaysians in general are peace loving people, and do not wish to be dragged into taking sides where both parties in Middle East had shown no respect for peace and tolerance. Please leave these war mongering people alone and let them resolve their own regional problems.

Burning other countries flags to show support for warring parties is an act of demonstrating to the world our lack of self respect. And, for heaven sake, with the haze hanging around suffocating our breaths, stopped the stupidity of polluting our own air space. If you are really sincere in your righteousness, please book a ticket to Lebanon or Israel and burn all the flags you desired in the soil of Lebanon or Israel. Please refrained from burning these flags in Malaysia because you are not representing the majority of Malaysians.

As it is, we are already burdened with so many social ills in Malaysia. These so called righteous people should volunteer to go to all the crimes infested areas to do community services such as patrolling the street to apprehend snatch thieves, robbers, extortionists, rapists, etc. Or better still, pick up the brooms and clothes to sweep our streets and upkeep our public toilets to make it even more cleaner and hygienic to attract tourists.

Please convert all your negative energies into positive actions by holding peaceful prayers in the mosques, churches, temples, and other places of worships to generate positive energies to lessen the pains and sufferings of innocent victims in Lebanon and Israel.

We better keep our house in order before we partake into actions to meddle with events happening in other places thousands of miles away. Let us all be careful of what we are preaching to our youth and future generations. I definitely do not wish to see the cultivation of a negative and lawless culture where our youth take law into their own hands and move to the streets to established mob rules every time when their misguided brains have the wrong perceptions of what is wrong and right.

Please teach our youth tolerances and rules of law. Please be sensible to avoid instigating highly charge emotions into misplaced angers.

As a Malaysian. My honest opinion is, I am sick and tired to hear all these nonsenses of people seeking street justice and irrational mobbing at the expense of the miseries and sufferings of innocent majority.

With regards to the Middle East problems, let the United Nations handle the situation and respect the decision of the United Nations. Let diplomacy prevails and stop sabotaging or criticizing the majority decisions of the United Nations. Stop behaving like we are suffering from mental retardation as a result of infested with Avian flu, cocking all the irritating noises in all the wrong places.

Personally, I do not wish to take side, and I sincerely do not wish to be influenced into taking sides. I sincerely believed, by taking side, we became the worst culprit that encourages violences and wars. I sincerely and humbly prayed with my bended knee for peace to return to the middle east. May the people in Lebanon and Israel enjoy everlasting peace and prosperities.

Wouldn't it be very nice if all idiots can put aside religion and racial issues, look at humanity with a fair eye, and settle differences throught diplomatic discussions in give and take spirits ?

The Chosen One ?

There are always "chosen" people with certain gifted ability to have the "six sense" of sensing and parsing the environment beyond our normal three dimensional perspective. What if you are "chosen to be gifted" with this ability to interact with the spiritual realm ? Believe it or not, this so called gifted abilities is a torturous gifts from the unknown. Times and again, when this unwelcome gifts drifted you into the subconscious realizations of another dimension, you will somehow be reminded of silent codes of not interfering into this hallucinated realm of the unknowns. You are bounded by the unwritten and untold understanding to keep your visions and words to yourself. Otherwise, attempts to indulge in offering remedial actions to the dwellers of our three dimensional world is an act of interfering in the natural order of spiritualism, and may very well sapped your energies away from your body and affect physical aura and emotional well beings. Once this happened, you will usually suffered from physical weakness and unknown illness, and are also subjecting yourself to be trapped into the initial stage of being possessed by unwelcome spirits. And the journey of thousand troubles begins with our first steps of spiritual adventurism !

A piece of warning. Initially, this "gifted ability" is fun to have because it gave you a false sense of spiritual power over others. Do not be carried away with your "super natural" abilities by indiscriminately telling others your visions and offer advises or remedial actions. Some of these "gifted people" may be self motivated to wrongly believes that this cosmic universe of ours has given them with this gifted ability to save or help fellow human beings. Believe me, we are not put in this world to interfere with the spiritual world, unless we aspired to be a sage or saint. In our modern world, hedonism, materialisms, and false beliefs has corrupted and destroyed the possibility of attainment of higher spiritual enlightenment. If you are not careful, you may also end-up worshipping devils and satans. Therefore, do not allow yourself to be drifted into this undefined and unknown spiritualism simply because you have been enticed with temporary gifted abilities, but, be a man at peace and have self control over your concious mind.

Trust me, I speak with the knowledge of a person that has been there and back. DO NOT messed with spiritualism by invoking the name of God to deliver your gifted abilities. How sure are you that these gifted abilities are deliver to you by God ? As far as I can understand, we are all merely insignificant particles in this cosmic universe, the acquired gifted abilities are probably due to accidental interactions and conservations of energies from unknown plains. Be mentally strong and stay true your commitment to the path of positive relativities and do not be swayed by emotional events or afflictions into the unchartered ground of unknown spiritualism.

Now, what if you are aware of the negative energies affecting people who are close to you ? Please don't try to be a hero to challenge the unknowns. Let it be, let it passed, and offer silent prayers to seek the power of almighty to alter the aura of the surroundings so that opposing energies does not crossed paths and are harmonized.

The energies in the other dimensions should never be interfered and should never be harnessed to gain temporary comforts. Let the spiritual nature take its course.... having the gifted spiritual abilities does not mean we can abuse it to interfere with the spiritual order which we have no understanding.

Everyday, I do see angels....... I do see evil spirits.... I seek not favors nor confrontations. I would rather enjoy my cup of hot aromatic black coffee in this given earthly graden of the almighty. It is my duty to stay true to my cosmic earthly path to Nirvana.... Om mani padme hom... Om Namo Amithaba Buddha.....

Shhhhh..... I still blogged !

The administration of Malaysia has recently issued warnings that whatever necessary actions will be taken against Bloggers putting up "inappropriate" postings in their blogs. A week prior to this warning, most of the major local newspapers conducted and reported "random surveys" to inform the public about the "lack of credibilities" of bloggers. In another word, don't trust what the bloggers wrote ! I got the funny feelings that maybe the mainstream local newspapers are losing readerships to the blogsphere !

This posting is not intended to challenge the legitimacy of any authorities to curb the expressionary freedom of the bloggers. This posting is merely a blogger's personal opinions and dissatisfactions on the unnecessary threats issued to bloggers to avoid commenting or subjects matters that are deemed to be too sensitive by some elitists. If we want to progress, we must be open minded on any subject matters and be able to express our own opinions on the perceived wrongs, rights, or shortcomings. However, if we want to be a refined mental retards, then everything will be deemed to be sensitive when it touches on our biased preferences.

For example, taking into account of the sensitivity of some Malaysians, and I guess it is always acceptable if there are groups of Malaysians demonstrating on the streets, disrupting the traffic, and causing inconveniences to the public, to voice and solicit support for Hzebollah with regards to the recent middle-east conflicts? However, is it wrong if a blogger choose to voice his differing opinion and write postings in support of Israel ? What constitute wrong and what constitute right ? and What constitute morality and ethical behaviors? As a nation, do we have the courage ( or perhaps maturity ) to accept differing but morally right opinions even if the opinions are not to the likings of some noisy Malaysians ? Hypothetically, should the rights of the noisy groups be defended even if their morality is perverted and unethical ? In this case, should the bloggers be held accountable when the rest of the so called "emotionalized" people are too narrow minded and incapable to conduct their reactions in a civilized manner ?

If a blogger post opinions that is perceived to be inappropriate, then the readers of the blog must be given the same rights to post comments to argue his position. If what the previous postings of the blogger are misrepresentation of fact, then it should be pointed out in that particular blog, and the blogger should apologized for his action to right his misrepresentations. This is what civil society is all about. What is the role of government here trying to influence the bloggers what not to posts ? Isn't the government has better thing to do to plan for the strategic wellbeing of the country rather than having the temptation to stick their fingers in the blogsphere ? The point here is, a blogger must be given the freedom to write what he deem fit and should not be subjected to indirect threats of legal or whatever actions.

It is a good thing that Malaysia still has a very liberal Internet access policies. The Internet is the last frontier in Malaysia where the administration does not have the capabilities or are compelled by the requirements of the established Multimedia Super Corridor to hands off the Internet contents. This freedom of access must be continued to encourage the diversities of digital deliveries of knowledges.

I do not read the local newspaper anymore ( unless I am very bored and has nothing left to read !). Partly because I do not think the local newspapers are capable of providing objective reporting. This personal observation of the state of local newspaper maybe ill conceived. The point here is, nobody can force me to read what I felt is no longer relevant ! Through Internet, I have the opportunity to access various free newspaper from around the world giving news reporting and editorial commentaries from various angles. The point is, whether the particular news articles are biased, sensitive, or otherwise, does not really affect my emotions or state of beings. It merely gave me the opportunity to understand event from wider perspective.

Another benefit of not buying local newspaper is, I can save RM 1.20 a day, and this translate to RM 438 a year. Enough to cuciputihkan my Google Adsense income. And, for arguement purpose, what if 5 millions Malaysians stopped buying local newspapers a year, that will translate to RM 2,190,000,000.00 savings a year. Enough money to built a new railway from Padang Besar to Johore Bahru ! And many trees will also be saved during the year. So am I politically correct and environmentally responsible to say " SAY NO TO PRINTED MEDIA WHEN YOU CAN READ IT FREE ON THE NET" ? So does it really matter, if some bloggers are not credible ?

Reading the local newspapers made me few like reading filtered marketing statements. So, forgive me if I refused to subject myself to this unnecessary absurdities of mismatches of expectations.

If I derived my judgement based on various sources of news in the net and post my comments on my blog, does that make me an irresponsible blogger if my views and comments are not in line with the mainstream media ? Should my differing views and opinions be perceived as sensitive and therefore censured on ground of protecting the public interests ? Who constitute the public interests ? Aren't we threading on a very dangerous ground of immorality and disrespect for human rights ?

Now, what is the implication of not reading local newspapers by a small pebble like me ? I don't know, but one thing I do observe is, in the past, say three years ago, if I want to buy a copy of "the Star", "New Straits Times", etc. from the local convenient stores in the evening, most likely there are no more copies left. But nowadays, go to any convenient store at 10:00PM, you will not be surprised to see a whole stack of fresh local newspapers left on the counters display pathetically waiting to be disposed off. I guess, my illogical and unscientific survey does give me an impression that, less and less people are buying local newspapers.

On the positive side, my refusal to buy and read ( or for that matter, minimized my contacts with ) local newspapers has also made me a more open minded person capable of assessing what is right and what is wrong. It made me a less violent person and enriched my ability to look at both sides of the coins in any situations.

With regards to local television channel, how many of us actually show any interest in tuning into the local channel such as RTM1, RTM, TV3, etc. for news feeds or entertainment ? Go to any home at any one time, most likely you will see the TV tuned into "wah-lai-toi", "TVBS", CNN, etc.

One thing I am quite interested to find out. Maybe some of the readers here can enlightened me. How many of you actually place advertisements in the local newspapers and televisions and are actually satisfied with the responses. The last time I place an advertisement in the classified section of a local newspapers for ONE week, guess what, not a single enquiries was generated. The same advertisement was place on the Internet free-of-charge and it attracted more than 50 enquiries. So wat does that translate to ? The local media no longer commands the readerships they used to enjoy ?

In marketing sense, the local newspapers and TV channels has lost touch with the local customers and are no longer relevant to Malaysians. I for one, has the perception that, given my limited times, I rather not waste my times reading or viewing concerted uninteresting reportings.

I sincerely felt very irritated that, warnings has been issued to bloggers not to post writings that are "sensitive", "touching on religions and race", etc. Funny, on one hand, we have been preaching the idealism and romaticism of human rights vis-a-vis freedom of speech and expression, but on the other hand, the bloggers are subject to threats of actions if they "mis-posts" ! Now, what is the definition of freedom of speech ? The freedom to write what others want to hear or read, or the freedom to offer alternative differing opinions and commentaries ? After almost 50 years of independent, do we still want to be managed like inmatured babies and incapable of formulating and accepting our own thoughts and opinions ?

Increasingly, there are many more idiots like me turning to blogs as supplements for wider perspective of certain issues. Okay, you can go around questioning my stupidity of reading non credible sources of news, but I don't mind ! I believe this idiot is intelligent and educated enough to make his own judgement of what is credible and what is not.

In anywhere of the world, a transparent, responsible, and honest government will never fall into the trap or temptation of censoring any form of expressions simply because these expressions confronted the government to do something about the perceived wrongs. A government should not resort to the moral hazards of threatening freedom of expression to enforce its credentials. However, it is honorable for the governments resorting to the same venue to disseminate appropriate information to counter misinformations. Most government that resort to the classic chauvinistic approach of threats and intended misinformation eventually failed dismally.

Recently, I viewed a video clip of an interview of a politician regarding various issues. Honestly speaking, it is indeed torturous to view the whole clip. The bottom line is, I don't know whether I am stupid or otherwise. The answering parts are so shallow and shadowed by the politician perceived incapabilities and lack of knowledges of the issues at hand. I am stupid because I actually allowed myself to be be genuinely interested in wanting to discover the intelligence of the politician, naively subjected myself to this kind of absurdity in propaganda drumming. Never. I will never again tune into any holier than thou TV channel.

I respect the rights of other to disrespect my views and opinions. In sincerity, I would also like to urge the rest to respect my stupidity no matter how smart they are. Whether they are smarter than me or not is not really the question in dispute. The question is, do we have the decency and the sincerelity to show RESPECT for others' views and opinions ?

Recognizing Enough Stupidities Perpetually Encourages Creative Thinkings ? what does it means ? you figured it out yourselves........ Without black coffee, I don't even know what I am writing using the kwailan kuai-low language.

Coincidentally, this is the 3rd day this week I am without my favorite coffee. Why ? Because, I am still having trouble trying to buy 1Kg of white sugar. It is indeed horrible to drink black coffee without sugar ! And this incoherent rantings took me 40 minutes to write without my favorite black coffee !

Om Namo Amithaba Buddha.. Oh my fat laughing Buddha, have mercy on me, please drop a few Kg of sugar on my doorsteps and enlightens my black coffee with sweetness !

By the way, uncle LKY, if you feel that this posting is too sensitive, do tell me huh... I will remove it unconditionally and offer my most sincere apology.... Kong lai kong gee, wau ng see kwai lan... Wau ng see sow chai. Wau chin chin ai kok. Wau chin chin see hor lang leh ! Beng Pek boh ?

By that dear name, I called you. Mother.

12 years ago, you did not bid us farewell.
Trembling in amazing calmness,
you move on silently, as gentle as the wind.
You departed to the garden of God.

With your strong wills and admirable determinations,
you have given us the spiritual and moral comforts.
You have laboured days and nights,
sacrificed your youth and beauty,
and unselfishly devote your love to all of us.

Without reclaiming your labour of love,
in the evening of warm October's air,
you made the solo journey to be with God,
to rest your tired soul.......
You left your legacy of love and the memories
which forever resides in my heart.

You have always said A man is a pillar to the family, and
"Tar Por Kia, Beh Sai Low Bug Sai...."
(" A man must not shed tears ")
I shall always tried not to show my emotions in sorrow and sadness.
But, in solitude, tears do flow freely recalling the images of you.
Sometimes, thinking of the life you went through,
I do hide in my room and silently cried in my heart.
Forgive me, I can not be a man of perpetual no sorrow....

I have not done enough to make your life passage smoother.
I have not done enough to make life more comfortable for you.
I always thought that, tomorrow, I can make it better for you.
I am sorry for the countless tomorrow's that you have waited
for me to deliver my duties as a son to you.
Tomorrow came, you are freed from pain,
in eternal peace, and you are gone forever.

I am sorry for being too blinded to see your pains,
I am sorry for not having the courage to accept that you are dying,
I am sorry for refusing to let you go.
I am forever indebted to you for thy love.....

By that dear name, I called you. Mother.
losing you is my life's greatest sorrow.
I missed you and cherished the memories of you.
Of those good times, not so good times,
and of those growing up years...

I seek your forgiveness
for everything that I should have done but procastinated.
I seek your forgiveness for not bidding you the final farewell.

Oh, my most merciful and gracious Buddha,
please accept my humble prayer to you,
please bless my mother's soul
to ease the attainment of grace and joys
in your garden of perpetual happiness.........

Om mani padmi hom, Om Namo Amithaba Buddha.....

Life Journey (2)

I was born in a small town in Malaysia.
A small town named Taiping.
A town that is given the name that symbolizes eternal peace.
Ironically, the name was derived
after peace treaty between two warring triads.

I am lucky to be part of this historic town.
I learned street negotiation skills,
I learned how to protect myself on the street,
I learned multiculturalisms in pure boyhood innocence.
I learned the hardships and flexibilities of small town environment
I learned to be resilient as a small boy.
I grew up there for the next 18 years,
and lived in the same house with the barest necessity.

I went through 2 primary schools, and two secondary schools.
I have my primary education in Chinese language medium school.
For my secondary education,
I was assigned to English Language medium school.
The experiences in changing languages of education were traumatic.
Imaging trying to adapt to control the muscles of your tongue,
to produce acceptable pronunciation of words in various languages.
But, I am lucky to be in this unique educational process
I learned the Chinese dialects of Mandarin, hokkien, and Cantonese.
I learned to write and speak in English language
I learned to write and speak in Malay language
My only regret is,
I never have the opportunity to learn Tamil language.

At 19 years old, I ventured out beyond Taiping.
Like they said, dari sebuah desa,
membawa sebuah beg penuh dengan harapan dan cita cita.

I ventured into Toronto, Canada as a teenager to attend my high school there.
Later in the same year, I enrolled into the University of Guelph.
As most young men said, it was the most dramatic and New phase of my life.
For the first time, I felt and saw the changes in seasons.
I saw the leaves turn golden yellow, red, and brown in romantic Autumn,
I saw the freshness of flowers and the renewal of life in Spring
I saw the extremity of winter, and the outward bounds spirits of Summer..
For the first time, I can feel the temperature below freezing level.
For the first time, I can feel and see snow falls.
I met friends from different countries with different language capabilities
I learned to be independent.

I learn to appreciate different levels of intellectual cohabitation.
I learned to appreciate the values of tolerance and and patient.
I learned the beauty of diversity and differences.
I learned to be a scholar and a man.
I learned to be a renaissance man.

With a degree that I can roll-up to look at the end of unemployment line,
I was lucky to miss flight 007 that was shot down by the Russian,
I arrived safely in the old KL International Airport in Subang Malaysia.
I secured my first job in the Pear of the Orient.
With my first pay, I bought myself a brand new Nissan Sunny.
I married and start my family in Penang.
In the eve of Christmas, my son was born in Adventist Hospital.
However, in cerebration of new life, I also suffer setback.
I lost my job. On the optimistic side, it was a blessing.
It was during those difficult times,

I know who are my true friends.

Out of life unavoidable necessity, I took a train down to Kuala Lumpur,
In search of financial security for my family.
I was lucky, my brother provide me with free accommodation,
and I secured my first job, and my wife followed me later.
A new beginning in the fertile muds ( lumpur) of the river mouth (kuala).
More than 20 years since I left Taiping, I am where I am now in Selangor.
With a comfortable family and a comfortable business of my own,
looking back, I did indeed have a successful career.
Thank you God, for your graceful protections, encouragements, and enrichments.

Now, life is but a funny retrospective memory trip...
I feel the comforts and warm of my home now,
but I miss those comfortable years of my parents home in Taiping.
I have the financial comforts to buy what I want now,
but I can't buy back those bygone simple nostagic life in Taiping.
With confidence, I can plan for the future in great details,
but I can't relive my past in Taiping in the simplest of requirements.
It is just not the same feelings anymore !

God, how much Malaysia has changed.
But, my root is still in the nostagic simple old Taiping,
I left Taiping as a young and innocent man,
I left my soul there as a young man,
I need to make a journey back into my pasts,
to rediscover and rejuvenate my inner most feelings,
and to reassess my priorities in life.
Home is where my heart and my past is.
I need to make a sentimental journey home to reclaim my soul.
I leave it to God to decide the timing of my homecoming.

From now own, In spirits, Taiping shall be my springboard
to be a more compassionate man, a man responsive to his surroundings,
my spirits shall reveal what my eyes can not see.
I shall be able to listen what my ears can not hear.....

Looking back, I realized !
How foolish I was !
Life is not a race of material and wealth accumulations.
Life is path that has been destined by the almighty.
It is up to us to enrich this destined path
with sights, smells, sounds, and tastes.
It is up to us to nourish this path
with our faith in the Almighty.
Today's sorrows, pains, triumphs, and tribulations
will always be tomorrow's past.
Follow your heart and look forward to tomorrow.
It is up to us to walk this path with our head held high.
It is up to us to make this path an enjoyable passage of life.
a life of no regret !
Life is not about dreams, or about reaching for the sky.
Life is, after all, not a destination, but a journey of purpose.

Om mani padme hom. Om Namo Amithaba Buddha.
